Authentic Island Living: What to Expect Embrace the Spirit of Aloha and True Island Isolation
This estate offers an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience in remote Keaʻau. Because we are located on a secluded island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by a vibrant rain forest ecosystem, you will get to experience Hawaii in its purest form.
Tropical Co-habitants: Geckos, harmless insects, and local fauna are a natural part of Hawaii’s delicate ecosystem. While the home is professionally co-managed with regular pest control maintenance, an occasional outdoor bug may wander inside to say hello. Keeping doors closed helps keep them out!
Island Weather & Utilities: The lush green beauty of the Hilo side comes from our beautiful tropical weather. Occasionally, heavy island rains or high winds can cause brief, temporary utility or power interruptions. We recommend keeping your devices charged and viewing it as the perfect excuse to unplug, gather on the lanai, and enjoy the tranquil sounds of the jungle.
