Beautiful Four Bedroom Executive Edna Valley Home, San Luis Obispo
Our home sits on an 1/2 acre in Edna Valley and is great for Couples, Families, Solo Adventurers and Business Travelers. We have many walking, biking, hiking trails and a private golf course nearby. The San Luis Obispo, Edna Valley AVA is lush with Vineyards, Wineries, and Wedding Events. Our property is close to beaches and downtown areas of Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo.
Our outdoor entertainment area is beautiful and relaxing, coupled with the wonderful weather makes our home the perfect place to stay while visiting the Central Coast. Sorry, currently ALL fireplaces are off limits to our guests. If you are going to use the Santa Maria style BBQ you will need to bring your own wood or charcoal and you will be responsible/liable for any fire damages that may occur. We do have a gas grill and and Traegar for you to use.
We take pride in the exceptional condition and amenities we provide from curling irons to waffle makers. We hope you will feel comfortable and at home in our home.
The home is ideal for up to 8 guests.
Guests have access to the inside and outside of the home for their enjoyment including a very large fenced yard.
The garage, some closets and cupboards have been secured and are unavailable to guests. Please do not try and access these areas. Thank you in advance for honoring our policies.
We generally stay at our next door property in our barn. Our caretaker also lives just 2 minutes away so If you need assistance or have questions we can be available a moments notice. The property is visited daily to feed our outdoor cats. We will be as discreet as possible so as not to disturb our Guests, most of the time you will not even notice that we were there. The cats are friendly and sometimes meow at the back door or bring their "present" (aka prey) for you to see and praise them...sorry. Please do not let the cats inside the house.
When inquiring, please tell us a little bit about yourself, your trip to SLO and the guests who will be staying with you at our home. Thank you!
Please review our house rules and the "show more" link (situated at the end of this listing) before requesting to book.
All new bookings will have the San Luis Obispo County Transient Occupancy Tax and Tourism Marketing District Assessment added to your total. The total tax rate is 12.5%. All collected taxes will be submitted to the county assessors office as required by local law. WE as owners do not keep this added tax.
Gatherings that include additional guests (more than your reservation request) are not permitted. You will lose your damage deposit if you invite and bring on the property more guests than your original reservation request without prior approval in writing through this website. That includes but not limited to, bringing more guests on the property for Graduation/Birthday/wedding parties, BBQ's, Brunches/Breakfast's, Bridal Party make-up/dressing gatherings, etc. Please message us regarding your needs to determine if we can accommodate your request. We have and do make exceptions, so please be upfront with us. Some gatherings and extra guests will require an extra fee or deposit.
If Guests are authorized to have a gathering they are responsible for any damage or police violations, including noise violations (quite time from 10pm to 8am).
Our home is not a commercial restaurant, meaning we do not permit our registered guests to cater events for larger crowds on site or off site.
For your protection and ours outdoor video cameras may be in force. There are no indoor camera's.
The gardener services the property on Wednesdays morniings sometime us the afternoon. Friday is trash day for regular, recycle and green waste trash (3 separate trucks). They usually arrive sometime between 10am and 3pm. We or the caretaker will try to take the bins out to the curb and return them Saturday morning.
The train runs behind our house a few times a day and adds to the ambience of our home and the surroundings.
Guests are responsible to leave the house and outdoor patio in the same condition and locations as when they arrived with the exception of bedding and towels. There is no need to strip or make the beds. Please leave the beds unmade or pull the sheets and throw them and the towels in the laundry room.
Guests who overstay their reservations or misuse the house will be subject to immediate expulsion and loss of deposit.
Thank you in advance for taking care of our home, belongings and for honoring our policies. We understand these rules may seem strict, but when the home is not used as a vacation rental, we live in it full time and the wear and tear that comes with entertaining larger parties/events/gathers and at times small children takes its toll on the home.
