Rocky Cliff offers a convenient and comfortable stay in the Heart of the Black Hills. Located a block off Hill City's charming Main Street, it's within walking distance to local shops, delicious restaurants, the historic 1880 Train, and the scenic Mickelson Trail. Explore nearby attractions like Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Black Elk Peak, all just a short drive. Whether you're visiting for nature, history, or relaxation, this is the ideal base for your getaway.

Featuring a spacious master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an adjoining ¾ bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed. There is full bathroom with storage in the hall.

The living room contains a sofa bed, loveseat and recliner to sit back and relax after the day’s adventures. A washer and dryer are also available.

The kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and a dining table. There is also a gas grill and picnic table outside.

Guests at Rocky Cliff are invited to use the pool and hot tub at the Super 8 by Wyndham that is just across the street.

We have parking for multiple vehicles and/or trailers. There is an upper driveway next to the house and a lower driveway at street level. There’s also on street parking and an overflow lot across the road (less than a half block away).

The house was close to multiple attractions and was a great place to relax at the end of the day. The house was clean and well maintained. Easy check in and the host was very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The home has a very homey feel. Although not overly big, there was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Everything we needed was there, It is a great location for walking and site seeing. I would definitely stay again,

The house is easy to find and is in a great location. The rooms are small but the layout of the house is perfect for 3-4 people. It is quiet and just around the corner from both the Black Hills Institute and Elizabeth’s (the best coffee shop in the world). Having access to the hotel pool is lovely too.

We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this VRBO! The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do during our Mount Rushmore and Black Hills trip. It was conveniently located near all the attractions, making it easy to explore the area while still having a comfortable place to relax.The host was outstanding—very responsive, friendly, and accommodating to all of our needs throughout our stay. Communication was excellent, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay at this property again the next time we visit the Black Hills. The property owner was amazing. We had a small little issue out first night, I messaged her and she had her maintenance guy there in a few minutes. Issues was all taken care of. Than we had a headlight on the truck go out and we had no tools. We messaged her again and she once again sent her maintenance guy and he not only came with tools but help change it. Highly, highly recommend this property. Very nice and clean. Property owners were so accommodating and super fast response to messages, it made our stay so much better knowing we didn't have anything to worry about. Plus we got to see some wildlife on the rock wall. Would and will stay here again.

Overall property was adequate. Lack of air conditioning in bedrooms was a bit of concern due very hot weather, Ability to use pool in the Super 8 motel was a big plus. All needed cooking utensils were provided. An actual private internet connection instead of trying to access the Super 8 internet would be a big plus.

We enjoyed our stay, cabin was clean and comfy, kids loved that we had access to a swimming pool, definitely going to consider booking with this host in the future.
