The property comes with a king size bed and a pullout sleeper sofa to sleep a maximum of 4 people. The master bathroom has a romantic corner jacuzzi tub and shower combination, the second bathroom sports a delightful tile shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, range, dish washer, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, toaster, coffee pot and Keurig. There is gas grill on the porch for easy outdoor cooking. The cottage is approximately 972 square feet, with central heating and air and washer and dryer. Brand new Smart TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi is provided, as well. What an amazing stay and the view did not disappoint. It was like looking at a Tolkien novel every day. This is a perfect place for a couple or family with kids. The place is very clean and the host is wonderful and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so.

We absolutely loved this charming cabin. It was very clean and stocked with more things than I have ever seen with a rental. The kayaks were a wonderful addition. We had two wonderful days on the lake. We would definitely rent again.

The cabin was beautiful and perfect for two people. The views were amazing. It was very clean and well maintained. Judy was wonderful and communicated all the features as well as the checkout processes. Chase was also amazing while doing some light maintenance which did not impact us at all (he offered to come back, but it was little to nothing). The location is also great, about 15 minutes tops to nearly all Lake Lure locations. Would definitely stay at this location again!

This house was perfect for my husband and me. We loved viewing Lake Lure everywhere in the house! Our hostess was very helpful in answering questions and showing us certain things in the house to make our stay perfect.Highly rated this house as we would be happy to stay here again! The price was good per night until VRBO adds the cleaning fee, the taxes and their price to the overall cost.

This place was absolutely perfect for us! We spent as much time outdoors as possible and never even felt the need to sit in the living room or turn on the TV. The covered deck was wonderful, even during the afternoon storms, and the private dock with steps into the water truly made the experience. We loved being able to fish, float, and enjoy the lake right from the property. The location is also fantastic, just minutes from great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and are already looking forward to our next trip. Thank you, Judy, for sharing such a special home!

Property was fine, but too many steps to the lake for someone who has a few mobility problems. The charge of 700.00 for 2 nights was way over priced . However the location was very nice.

Thanks for sharing your concerns regarding the steps. We're sorry that you experienced difficulty with them. We do want to clarify that the property is located in a lake community with naturally steep terrain. Photos of the home, steps, and surrounding property are shown in the listing so guests can evaluate the property and determine whether it is appropriate for their individual needs before booking. We were not advised before your booking that any one in your party had mobility issues. If we were advised before your booking we would have gladly discussed with you and helped you determine if the property was a good fit based on your issues. The rates for the property are very competitive with other lake front rentals and are clearly listed before booking. We do appreciate you staying with us and certainly hope for the most part you enjoyed your vacation.
