Authentic 1850’s Settlers cabin High Speed Internet

The cabin was relocated here back in 1999 from Virginia where it was originally built. It is a true early settlers cabin. Combined space loft and main floor is 600sqt/ft. Each log is well over 150 years old. It has a kitchen with 4 eye cook top, convection oven/microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, living room, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower combined. A loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. This staircase is narrrow and dogs will have to be helped or carried up. Space would not allow a larger staircase. The loft is equipped with a queen size and a full size bed and rough pine furniture. The laundry room is located left on the back porch area it has both a washer and dryer. There is a front porch with two rocking chairs and a back porch with an outdoor grill. Both porches have winter time views of the mountains. The setting is trees and mountains all around with views up and down the .5 mile driveway. To sit in the cabin recliner and breath in what it must have been like for early settlers is a truly unique feel. A motion light with camera has been added to the entry to provide lighting and safety when entering and exiting and it will record when motion activated. WIFI High speed, Pots and pans, silverware plates, bowls, coffee cups, a wine opener, and can opener are also provided. A Keurig coffee maker and k cups are provided . If anything else is needed please txt or call me. I will respond promptly to your questions or requests. Pets are welcome here at the cabin. The driveway is a wide one lane that leads to the cabin, and there is virtually no traffic except the occasional vehicle. The cabin is also located on a private drive.

We loved our stay at the Settlers Cabin. It's on such a quiet ridge. We had a little trouble finding it after dark the first night. We contacted Jeff and he helped us find it in a matter of minutes. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The rocking chairs on the front porch were awesome. We watched a thunderstorm go through the second evening and had coffee every morning.We will stay here again.

This was one of the best hikes we have stayed in. We loved how private the location was and the property was amazing. I felt like we were living in the 1800’s but with 21st century amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

This is an amazing property. The hosts were amazing and friendly as well. They were even patient with all of my questions. Responses were quick and thorough. Location was perfect, and surroundings were peaceful. I will not hesitate to stay again. Thank You for your hospitality!

Place was very quiet. Wish the staircase was slightly bigger cause I'm a larger person then normal. Overall a lovely place, nice and quiet and clean. Unfortunately me being a guy, I wanted to try the bear horn, but alas I could not get it to work

Beautifully decorated cabin with an amazing fireplace! Jeff is an attentive host, responding quickly to questions and offering suggestions for things to do in the area.
We spent lots of time in front of this incredible fireplace, reading or watching tv!
Picturesque!

This little cabin more than exceeded our expectations! If you’re looking to truly get away from it all and stay somewhere incredibly serene, tucked away in the forest, and on a mountain, book this place!The minute we walked in, our spirits were lifted. The cabin has a cozy fireplace, a cute kitchen with a really creative drop-down table, and high-end appliances. I especially loved the convection / microwave combo and stovetop.There are two very comfortable beds upstairs. There is also a modern washer/dryer and a great shower. The cabin was one of the cleanest vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had dishes, cutlery, pots, and basic spices, and the bathroom had soap and shampoo.We loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. There are two comfortable recliners, cable TV, and the ability to use your own streaming apps. There’s also a fire pit out back and a clean, well-maintained gas grill on the porch. I grilled steaks and chicken, and everything came out great!We have two dogs, and they absolutely loved running and playing in the woods. The only downside was the spiral staircase—our Dalmatian wouldn’t go upstairs, although our smaller dog did with our help.Overall, this was a beautiful, peaceful, comfortable getaway. It felt like the perfect place to unplug, relax, and enjoy the quiet. We would definitely stay here again!.

Loved how cozy the cabin was. We used the kitchen a little bit and spent a little time in downtown Hendersonville. No issues came up during our stay and everything went very smoothly. We would stay again!

Incredible! All the amenities you would ever need. It was cozy, clean and tidy. The location was next to the best hiking trail I’ve seen, World’s Edge. The owner was also extremely quick to respond.

The setting is beautiful. The cabin is charming. As older adults, the spiral staircase was a challenge at first but we adapted.
