Host was amazing to communicate with and allowed us to stay past our check out time during a holiday weekend. Property was as described and was very nice and peaceful. We will definitely be back again!

The host was very great with communication. The place was clean and instructions very easy to help care for the place. It has a wonderful carm. A great place to relax and want a couple more days.

The swallows nest was absolutely perfect-the cabin is clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for anything better. communication was absolutely top-notch.

We had an absolutely lovely time. The house was perfect, the yard was great. It was quiet and restful. We used the kitchen and grill without issue. Everything was spotless. Will definitely come back again.

Swallows Nest is a quiet comfortable gem on the shore of Lake Nahwatzel! Secluded from neighbors on one side and forest on the other, it is a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway! Christabel is a fantastic host! She communicates everything you need to know and was even nice enough to answer my call in the evening when Google Maps sent us to the wrong side of the lake in the dark! I highly recommend this sweet spot!

This cabin is nestled into the tree line. There is a private dock. The lake water is very warm due to it's shallow water. At the end of the dock is a bunch of piling that go all the way across the lake. There are a bunch of bird houses on the piling for the swallows. It's fun to watch them come in and out of the houses. You can see fish all over and watch them jump out of the water catching insects. Will definitely be back.
