Travelers Retreat/King Beds/Game Room/Play House

The Space:

This tastefully remodeled house offers a blend of classic charm and modern design. The living room is bathed in natural light, thanks to its large windows, and seamlessly connects to a fully enclosed four-season sunroom. The living spaces are adorned with warm colors and vibrant artwork, creating an inviting atmosphere. Throughout the house, you'll find an industrial design flair in the entryway and several rooms, complemented by unique conversation pieces. For the kids, we have a play house in the back yard and a game room in the lower level.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire house, including the three bedrooms, living room, den, kitchen, and backyard. The front and rear entrances are available for entry. You'll receive a unique 4-digit access code approximately one hour before check-in. Please note there is no access to the garage, locked doors, or closets. Parking is available in the two spaces in front of the house, one behind the other. Please park closest to the house side of the driveway, as it is shared with the neighbor. Additional street parking is available.



The Neighborhood:

Nestled in the Cathedral District, our home offers a peaceful retreat in a convenient location. You'll find grocery stores and various shops just a short distance away, perfect for quick errands. The neighborhood also boasts a selection of restaurants, providing diverse dining options within easy reach. Enjoy the tranquility of this residential area while still having easy access to everything you need.



Getting Around:

You are conveniently located near numerous restaurants, grocery stores and attractions like Haley's Mansion, Jacob Mansion, Harrah's Casino, Autobahn Country Club, Route 66 Raceway and many other attractions. Also you have quick access to major highways like I55 and I88. A better location you will not find in the area!



Other Things to Note:

if you need extra supplies please plan to pick up any extra items needed items needed during your stay.

We provide a starter pack with the following items:

- one roll of paper towels

- one extra roll of toilet paper for the bathroom

- two extra garbage bags

- two dish washer pods

- laundry soap



The house has numerous trees. Please be aware, that as the seasons change, we sometimes get tiny black ants, which are very common and harmless. We do have professional pest service which sprays regularly around the house. If you happen to see them, we can came out and spray or call our service and have them come out. That said, we will not be giving refunds for something we cannot 100% prevent.

Keyless door access will be provided.
