Inside, you`ll find light-filled living spaces, cozy furnishings and coastal décor that instantly make you feel at home. PETS & ALLERGIES
-No pets allowed.
-Please note the home is not allergy-friendly— the homeowner has a dog.
-Contact Lifeline Rentals if you have any special allergy concerns or requests.
-Please wipe your feet at the front door to avoid tracking sand into the home.
-Use the side hose to rinse sand off before entering or showering.
-Absolutely no wet towels, swimsuits, or wet bodies on the furniture.
-Please do not handle or play with the model boats—they are delicate, hand-built decorations.
-There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside the home, and this house can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
HEATING & SEPTIC:
-This home has electric baseboard heating.
-A Wi-Fi thermostat (by the front door) controls the living room and kitchen, whereas the bedrooms and bathroom heaters are individually controlled by dials on the heaters themselves.
-Please only flush septic-safe toilet paper.
-Do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, or any foreign objects.
-The house has a small hot water tank (not on-demand). Please use hot water sparingly as there is only enough for 1–2 short showers at a time.
-Caution: The shower does not have a thermostatic valve— water may become extremely hot. Test before entering.
FIREPLACE RULES:
-Small wood-burning fires are allowed in the *indoor* fireplace only.
-Burn only wood— no plastic, accelerants, or treated materials.
-Do not chop wood indoors.
-Please keep the screen closed at all times.
-Never leave the fire unattended or burning overnight.
-No roasting s’mores indoors— please use the outdoor propane fire pit instead.
BBQ USE:
-The Igniter is broken—manual lighting is required:
-To light, turn on the propane from the tank valve under the BBQ—you’ll hear/smell gas. Insert the BBQ lighter stick between the grills to ignite.
-Only 2 of the 3 burners currently ignite.
BEACH RULES:
-Please do not use the wooden docks on the beach—they are private.
-No beach fires permitted at any time, as per County regulations.
-Do not remove any natural elements from the beach (e.g., crabs, shells, seaweed, driftwood).
-Please clean up all garbage and leave the beach as pretty as you found it.
-Be respectful of the tranquility and privacy of this beach, and remember that it is privately owned.
-Guest parking is allowed in front of the garage door only. Please do not park in front of neighbors’ houses.
OUTDOOR AREAS & ADDITIONAL NOTES:
-There is no guest access to the garage or back shed— these are for owner use only.
-No climbing, standing, or jumping on patio furniture please.
-Use of the outdoor propane fire pit is subject to local municipal fire restrictions— please double check restrictions before use.
-Do not burn wood in the propane fire pit.
-Do not leave food outside—it attracts insects and rodents.
-Quiet hours begin at dusk, in respect of the neighbors and County bylaws.
-Please dispose of garbage and recycling in the bins provided (located beside the house near the gate).
