Creekside Cabin



The Space:

Nestled in a tranquil woodland setting within walking distance of the ZigZag and Sandy Rivers, this studio-style cabin in Rhododendron is a wonderful escape for winter sports and summer adventures on the slopes of Mt. Hood.



This cabin feels both secluded and close to Mt. Hood's wonders, with a public easement to the ZigZag River within walking distance. You'll also be able to stroll to the Skyway Bar & Grill and a nearby pizza parlor, and easily drive to world-class hiking trails and mountain resorts.



The cabin is attached to a main house on the property, but it has its own private entrance. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, offering a sheltered hot tub, a firepit, and a covered deck - all with beautiful views of the surrounding forest.



Inside, the space is lofty and atmospheric, featuring two-story ceilings and details of natural wood and exposed brick. After a day of adventure, curl up on the sofa in the warmth of the woodstove (with logs provided) and fix yourself a pre-dinner snack in the kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. At night, choose between two sleeping spaces - a bed facing a TV on the ground floor and a futon upstairs in the loft. Central heating and air-conditioning offer ultimate comfort.



THINGS TO KNOW

This studio-style cabin is connected to a main home on the property. The door between the two spaces will be locked and guests will have their own entrance into the cabin.

The kitchenette has a mini-fridge, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker (but no oven or stove).

Very nice place, the view off the front deck was awesome, trees and wetland vegetation, lots of great birds in the morning. Appreciated the water boiler and the toaster. Comfortable bed. Beware the stairs to the loft are for the nimble!

This cabin is smaller than it looks in the pictures, I’d highly recommend only coming here with people that you’re close with. The road to get to the cabin is covered with giant pot holes, this was not disclosed to us but luckily we had good vehicles for that terrain. The kitchen is extremely small, the only available sink is in the bathroom. They provide plastic utensils and paper plates, this was fine since the only sink we could have washed them in was the bathroom. They provided half of a 5 gallon bottle of water for 4 people and no backup so we ran out before our trip was over. The host did not contact us at all or respond to any messages sent to them. Overall we made the most of our trip and had a good time but I don’t think I would come back to this cabin.

Perfect relaxing get away

Very quiet area, backs up to the woods and the jacuzzi is awesome. Close to stores and restaurants as well as skiing and outdoor adventures. Would definitely recommend.

This charming and intimate space offers more than enough to ensure absolute comfort. It's the perfect sanctuary to relax after a day of mountain exploration. Beautiful cabin!

We had a great time at the cabin - it was super clean, pretty, and in a lovely area. Hot tub was awesome as well. We had a hard time finding it in the dark -- make sure not to use Google Maps!

Sweet spot

Close to the river, hiking trails within walking distance or just a short drive. Big nice porch to lounge on, hot tub in good working order, clean throughout. Thanks for the stay!

Great spot to relax!

We stayed here for one night and loved it. It's tucked back enough to be secluded and peaceful, but close enough to town if you would like to get out and about. The room was clean and we were even able to check in early. We would love to come back.
