Nestled amidst towering cedars and firs, our remodeled cabin offers an idyllic retreat perched above the Sandy River. Immerse yourself in nature's beauty while enjoying easy access to nearby amenities.

The tastefully updated interior blends vintage charm with modern comforts. Relax and entertain in the spacious living room with record player and vinyl collection. Cozy up to the woodstove and enjoy your favorite shows on the streaming TV. The expanded deck, complete with a hot tub, provides stunning river views.
Great for families and groups alike with separate spaces for all to enjoy. Upstairs you'll find the kitchen, 2 bedrooms(1 with a king and twin bed and the other with a queen bed), a bathroom and a spacious family room and dining area with wood beams. The daylight basement is perfect for kids with a bunk bed (double/twin), couch, pellet stove, a second bathroom, laundry and smart TV.

Perfect little cabin felt very private and comfortable. House was very clean and everything in working order, the river access was our favorite and the hot tub was a close second. It was a rainy weekend but there were plenty of games to play indoors! We had a lovely stay, look forward to another visit to this awesome little house!

Beautiful cabin in a perfect riverfront location. Clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Loved relaxing on the deck and listening to the water. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great location. Loved being able to walk down stairs and a short path to the river. Saw a coyote, plenty of birds, and bats that came out at dusk.The only thing we wished was available, were larger coffee mugs, but the house was otherwise really well equipped with everything we could need. Enjoyed playing music, and building puzzles and playing games we found in the closet.

Crew Station for Mt Hood Ultramarathon

Friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. 3 ran a race at Mt Hood, and 4 came with to be our crew. It was a great place for everyone with communal areas inside and outside, and had great accomodations for everyone. The place was clean and easily accessible when we arrived, and had everything we needed to cook for 7 hungry adults.

Such a Wonderful Cabin and Host!

This cabin was such a great home base for our family. We were out on daily adventures but every afternoon we were so excited to return to the cabin to relax and explore. It was clean and inviting, with everything we needed. Beds were all very comfortable and we loved open concept, looking out on the forest! The river was beautiful and a lot of fun for our kids to play around on the shoreline. We are very much hoping to return!

Loved it!

Stayed here for our 16 year anniversary. I loved how spacious the house was. The beautiful view of the river from the deck and the hot tub was nice too! I loved the retro vibe with old style radio and awesome record collection. Enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs over looking the river. We would love to come back to stay again in the future.

Beautiful property that is well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away in the woods. My friends and I enjoyed sitting by the river, hanging out in the hot tub, and hanging out in the large and comfy family room. I would definitely rent this cabin again!

The Great Outdoors

Loved the scenic river and coziness of the house. Wood fireplace kept us warm and relaxed. Comfortable beds and nice showers. Kitchen was a bit small. Great location near Zigzags - best pizza ever.

After Christmas family stay

What an amazing home! We truely enjoyed our time lounging, playing Uno, puzzling, and hot tubbing. The rooms were perfect! The kids were able to game downstairs while we watched TV upstairs. Thank you for a great trip. We would love to come back & enjoy the house during the summer.

I grew up on a farm/ranch in Montana and grew to love mountains and nature. I've spent most of my life in the PNW and enjoy skiing, biking, hiking and relaxing in nature. I've spent many years in the hospitality business and like to ensure positive experiences for all.

Its location just an hour from my home in Portland which makes quick getaways easy. I love its location along the Sandy River and all the cedar and fir trees and the soothing sounds of nature. Plus there are many great restaurants and a grocery store within a few miles. It's location has great things to offer year round and is a great base camp for exploring Mt Hood.
