Perfect property for our group holiday.Very private and secure with no neighbours overlooking. Lots of space for everybody. Host arrivals process was like clockwork. No issues at all.10 minute walk (with hill!) to the supermarket. Less than 10 minute walk to the start of beachfront bars and restaurants. There are ants in the garden and these will come inside if you leave food / waste exposed. Same applies to the pool area. The host does provide insecticides. I'm sure that this will be an issue for all of the villas in this area and we didn't see it as a big problem. There are a small group of green parrots that like to chatter in the fir trees by the pool and a couple of friendly cats that occasionally walk through like they own the place.Kitchen has all that you could need for self catering. Loads of crockery, glasses, pans and all of the necessary appliances.

The privacy and space truly are some of its best features! We appreciate your understanding regarding the ants and the importance of being mindful with food and waste. It’s fantastic to know that the insecticides we provided were helpful, and we’re glad you enjoyed the company of our friendly cats and charming parrots! Thank you for mentioning the well-equipped kitchen and the smooth arrival process. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll be sure to share it with the host to continue enhancing the experience for future guests. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another fantastic stay! Family holiday

As 3 generations traveling together the bedroom layout was perfect. Each family could have privacy. The communal areas were big enough for all of us to be together. Pool area really good for the whole family. Only downsides were no aircon in the bedrooms and the BBQ tucked away from the outside eating area. We had a great holiday.

Great holiday with only a few issues

Pros: Access to the pool and the the relaxed atmosphere and privacy in the property rather than in a hotel. It was easy to access the local town, shops, beach, market and local transport Cons: The grass around the edge of the pool was not cut - it was very long. A lot of grass therefore ended up in the pool

Traditional house with homely feel

This is our second time of staying in this villa. The location, walkable to Mijas, is excellent. There is plenty of space for 10 guests in varying rooms. It is not modern luxury but a very traditional and interesting house which is very comfortable and good communal areas. The pool area is huge with plenty of sun beds and a well maintained pool. We had a couple of issues, one with hot water but the owner/contact was very responsive and it was quickly sorted. Excellent security. Not all rooms were the same so some had nicer bedrooms but in general a good and very large villa.

Lovely, well located Villa in nice urbanisation

This is a mature Villa with all the facilities you need on holiday. A couple of small issues were solved immediately by the owner, who communicated with us throughout our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. Although it is near the main road, the pool area was secluded and there was not much noise. The pool itself was a great size and was kept very clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and there were plenty of different seating areas for socialising. It takes only 10 minutes to walk into La Calla de Mijas and the nearby restaurants in the urbanisation were lovely. Although It is not a modern place which some people like, it retains its eclectic charm and has a homely feel. Thank you to Veronique for being a good host.

An amazing spot for a family vacation!

Pros: Beautiful place, huge property snd a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach/town, and a great view of the sea. The pool was big, very warm, and perfect for our large family! Very glad there were two fridges! Cons: The lack of air conditioning in any of the bedrooms made it VERY hot in most of the rooms, even with ceiling fans. There was a portable A/C unit which helped but it could only be used in one of the rooms since it needs a window to vent to, and was not super efficient since the window had to be open to vent. The noise from the highway down below wasn’t an major issue (and we expected it), but without it there it would have been much more peaceful in the evenings. Ants were also a problem. Most were outside but some managed to get inside and got in some of the beds at night. Also, the dishwasher did not work for us so we were forced to wash the dishes by hand the whole week.

Workation Experiment in Marbella

Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Pros: We enjoyed our stay from begin to the end. The villa is very well equipped. Around the villa we had enough space for all to do what we wanted to do as playing, relaxing, swimming, sunbathing. For our group (parents, children and grand children) it fits for all. Parking lot at the entrance for our 3 rental cars was quiet and safe. Access to the beach is easy and just a short walk. The view at the seaside was marvellous and the noise from the traffic was bearable.
