This property is well furnished and not cluttered. All four bedrooms are comfortable with good mattresses. Lots of storage space. The kitchen is well equipped.
Although the property is on a main road, the road noise was not bad and traffic lessoned considerably at night.
There really is no back yard, which was not clear to me from the pictures. The back of the house is only 8-10 feet from the neighboring two story house. Although there is no real back yard, the front yard is completely enclosed by a high stucco wall and has nice seating with a firepit, a barbecue and patio lighting. It's quite cute and private.
If you have kids, there is a large public park and playground right across the street which was great for us. Our kids spent hours over there.
The location was very convenient - lots of stores within 5-10 minutes and centrally located for pretty much anything you want to do in coastal San Diego.
We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning. The bedrooms are all upstairs and it was quite warm that first night. However, being second floor bedrooms, it's safe to leave the windows wide open all day and all night. With the plethora of fans that we had available, the ventilation and the breeze (this is inland but not too far from the coast), it was comfortable.
This is a great place for a family traveling to San Diego.
The neighbors have chickens. Can't see or smell them, but they make a big racket at dawn. We found it cute.
