The Space:

This well-kept, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is located on the oceanside in midtown Ocean City, allowing you a quick walk to the beautiful beach each morning.



This property is outfitted with every essential for a comfortable beach vacation, including air conditioning, a full kitchen, and a private washer/dryer. The large, covered balcony provides ample natural light and views of the dunes down the street, while the living room features an electric fireplace and a TV for movie nights at home.



WHAT’S NEARBY

Here on the ocean block in midtown Ocean City, you'll be less than a block from Coastal Highway and its many restaurants, shops, and sources of family entertainment. The Assawoman Bay Bridge is half a mile south, as is the Ocean City Tennis Center. The heart of the historic Ocean City Boardwalk is only three miles south as well.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

The key pad lock didnt work. We had to call the number provided in the email, which worked well. This appears to be an issue, because there was a back up key. (I saw this in another review and was prepared). The communication is good, but the check in email is confusing with incorrect information (again, I saw this in a previous review and was prepared). I just reached out to them and confirmed the info prior to the trip and everything was fine. The place it self was clean and had what we needed for a quick trip to the beach. Everything I saw from previous reviews had been fixed and we had no issues other than the door. I have used Vuestay before and they do a good job with trying to make things right. They do respond to calls and text pretty quickly. So if you have any questions or issues just call them.

The majority of the apartment seemed well kept and clean. However, the couch, living room chair, and dining room table were old, worn and visibly dirty. The living room carpet was especially dirty. I appreciated the Legos but after my son dumped them on the living room carpet I realized the carpet was absolutely filthy. There were no linens for the sofa bed. The location was great and it was nice having books, toys, and games in case of bad weather. It was annoying having to go to an office to get and return the keys. There was a numeric keypad on the door, so why did I need physical keys? The parking passes said space #210 but there was no such space so I had to call the office. The confirmation email must have been generic because it included a door code, elevator code, and swimming pool gate code, none of which were needed. Overall, it wasn't necessarily a bad experience but I will not stay here again, especially for the price.

Property is in a nice location right by the beach and close to shops and restaurants. We planned to have six people in the unit but one could not make it and thank goodness. There is no way this unit would comfortably sleep six. My oldest son tried to sleep on the pull out sofa mattress and woke up with horrible back pain so he had to just sleep on the couch the rest of the trip.The sliding glass door would not open so we could not get out to the balcony. We called as soon as we got in the unit but they were not able to get someone out there until the next day at 4pm. That was a drag.Some of the silverware was disgustingly dirty which was a little off-putting.Other than that the unit was pretty clean and a had a kooky kind of charm with the decor. It was really nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit as we did a lot of beach lounging!Overall I would say this was an average experience but could easily have been above average if not for the door issue.

Before our arrival we were emailed codes for the condo door, and pool gate. We were delighted to hear there was a pool, there wasn't. When we arrived at checkin we were given two parking passes with the #210 on each. When we arrived, there was no such parking spaces. We spent a half an hour with the rental place trying to get the parking straight, only to find out that the information given was also incorrect. The accurate passes were in the condo. Once in the condo, everything was damp, carpets, furniture, bedding, towels. The air conditioner was not great. The refrigerator/freezer was not working well. Our food spoiled. The slider to the porch was difficult and came off the track often. We were only there for three days. Not sure we will come back to this condo or use this service again.
