We had a great two weeks at Guy's property. Its a stunning setting, extremely peaceful and with an incredible view over the lake and hills. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped, with very good aircon - which was a blessing as we had blue skies and hot temperatures 99% of the time. The pool was great for the kids and a lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Mobile signal isn't good, but we managed fine with the Wi-Fi - being rural it isn't strong, but it was normally sufficient to do some remote working and for the kids to stream a film. The biggest draw of the property to us though was the peace and scenery, so even were the signal an issue it wouldn't be a bad thing to be off grid!Guy was very accommodating and helpful, with good English (which we appreciated as we are still learning French) and gave valuable advice on the local area and places to see. Given the rural setting, us having young children and the potential language barrier if we had a problem, we found it reassuring that he was in the apartment below if we needed help. The local area is very picturesque, rural and quiet, with a lovely bastide town just up the road and others within a range of about 20 to 40 minutes that are well worth visiting.
