Located directly on the sand in Ventura’s charming Pierpont neighborhood, this cozy beach house opens to a private oceanfront deck perfect for morning coffee, sunset dinners, and watching the waves roll in. Step off the deck onto the sand, play in the surf, or enjoy long walks on the beach. Your relaxing coastal getaway awaits!

The space
The Beach House at Pierpont in Ventura is a place to unwind, reconnect, and experience true beachfront living. Open the sliding glass doors to your private oceanfront deck where you can enjoy morning coffee, sunset dinners, and panoramic beach views. Step down from the deck and you’re right on the sand — perfect for long beach walks, playing in the waves, or simply relaxing while listening to the ocean.

Inside, the home has a fun retro coastal vibe with its original pink 1960s kitchen and classic seafoam green bathrooms that feel like a step back into old California beach culture. Comfortable sofas, a dining area, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace create the perfect setting for relaxing evenings after a day at the beach.

The layout is ideal for couples, friends, or a small family, with the bedrooms and bathrooms located on opposite sides of the home for added privacy. For extra flexibility, the home also includes a twin bed and sleeper sofa.

Perfectly located close to everything Ventura has to offer — Downtown Ventura is within walking distance, while Santa Barbara is just 30 minutes north and Ojai is 30 minutes east. Enjoy wine tasting, golf, biking, hiking, shopping, and great local restaurants all nearby.

The home has central heat but does not have air conditioning. Thanks to the beachfront location, opening the windows allows for a wonderful ocean breeze throughout the home, and fans are provided in each room for added comfort.

Family owned since 1965, The Beach House at Pierpont Ventura has been a special place for creating beach memories for generations. Many guests return year after year to relax, reconnect, and experience the nostalgic charm of true California beachfront living. This is not a modern luxury remodel — it’s a classic beachfront cottage with personality, history, and heart. A little salty and worn from decades of ocean air and sandy feet, the home is deeply loved, and the family continues to care for it with tender loving care while preserving the character and charm that have made it special for so many years.

While the home now has a new property manager dedicated to making your stay comfortable and memorable, the warm spirit and unique character of this beloved beach house remains the same.

** Please tell us about your group and pets when submitting an inquiry, so we can respond as quickly as possible! A owner vacation agreement is required and will be sent to guest after booking. A copy of ID is required prior to receiving access.

As a condition of booking approval, the primary guest must respond directly to the host within VRBO’s 24-hour review period. The guest must confirm the total number of overnight guests, whether any pets will accompany the group, and that the home’s size and sleeping arrangements are suitable for the stay.

The host may ask reasonable additional questions about the reservation to confirm that the property is suitable for the guest’s intended stay. Failure to provide the requested information within the 24-hour review period will result in the booking request being declined for noncompliance with this requirement.

These requirements are part of the property’s published House Rules, apply equally to all booking requests, and support VRBO’s 24-hour booking-review process.

Once the booking is confirmed, the primary guest will receive an owner’s vacation rental agreement, which must be signed and returned before arrival. A copy of the primary guest’s valid identification is also required before property-access instructions will be provided.

Things to know:
This is a peaceful residential beach neighborhood, and we kindly ask all guests to be respectful of our year-round neighbors. Absolutely no parties or events are permitted. Quiet, respectful guests only. Noise levels must remain reasonable at all times, and quiet hours are strictly observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No pets.

Summer/Holidays stays may require minimum night bookings — please refer to the calendar for availability and stay requirements.

A separate vacation rental agreement must be signed prior to arrival, and a copy/photo of a valid driver’s license is required for all reservations.

Housekeeping services during your stay are available for an additional fee. Please inquire for monthly stay rates and housekeeping options.

Ventura is a laid-back coastal beach town located northwest of Los Angeles, known for its beautiful beaches, surf culture, and charming seaside atmosphere.
