Mauro has a great home to share and has family legacy as part of the story of his property. Admittedly, the home is not for physically challenged people as there are stairs everywhere. We were comfortable in a secure location with spectacular views of Lake Como. Very convenient to things we wanted to do.

The host was very nice. The house was clean and everything worked. The view was amazing. The thing I didn't see in any reviews, and I wish I knew before I went, was that you park halfway up a hill and then walk a half a mile up to the house on a cobblestone path. The host helped us get the luggage up, but my 82 year old mother had a hard time with this walk in the dark and rain. There is no lighting on the path. Also, there is no air conditioning. We were there the first week of September and it was 90 degrees each day. We would walk and sweat all day and then sleep with every door and window wide open each night go stay cool enough. I think the price was good, but you should be aware of these items when making a decision.

A nice staying in a peaceful location with a gorgeous view!

We spent a very wonderful week in this place which is perfectly located in the north of Come Lake, near from Villa Carlotta and ferry to go to Bellagio.Mauro is very helpful and always available to answer our questions.Everything was perfect!

Beautiful views!

Mauro's place has spectacular views across Lake Como and Cremia is a great base to explore all that Como has to offer. Cremia itself has a lovely beach and some good restaurants. Mauro is a great host who gave us lots of information about the house and area. The house is well equipped with everything needed for a great stay. There is a walk from the car but only 5 minutes and with beautuful views! Thank you!

Memory- making week

We loved the peace and beauty of this house. The weather was perfect two of the seven days and we made the most of the other days. Mauro goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. And next-door neighbor how do you spell Gerhardt was very helpful.

Place to relax and be active

We had a wonderful sunny week at La Pace. It was all as expected and shown in advance. Mauro showed us around and even gave hints for trips, diners and where to go if anything needed. The parking lot is just a short walk away and several small paths can be discovered. We spent the week hiking, swimming, renting a boat and enjoying the beautiful little and big towns around the lake.

Stunning

Mauro is the most lovely host, he met us and walked us from the car to the loadge, up the cobbled path that winds through the rolling mountains. The photos of this property didn’t do it justice. Mauro has put so much love into the building and it shows. We visited on the off season (March) and had rain daily so kept the fireplace going the whole time as that’s the only way to heat the house, which was so romantic. Could t recommend this place enough, the view of Como is unmatched.

peaceful place

It is a very quit beautiful place. there is everything you need in the house. Mauro, the owner, helps you with everything you ask him. And he is always available and friendly. He speaks a few languages. If you can not walk very well it is not that easy to go to the house. you can’t reach it by car.

Mario became a friend and his family as well. Delightful people

My stay was memorable. I loved the house, the view, the neighbors, the craftmanship. Mario and his neighbor built this house, and you can tell the character, the detail, and placement of the windows. Especially in the main bedroom, you can see the lake when you wake up, and the top of the mountain peak from another window. The heatalor fireplace warms the home. Firewood is stacked in the adjacent house which he owns and rents. Both properties are very Italian and comfortable. Mario is also a wine maker and can direct you in some tasty Reds. He maps out trips and hiking trails. This a AAA vacation spot.

Stunning location at Lake Como

This 2-storey, 2-bedroom unit is unique in many ways. Its location is somewhat remote and a challenge to reach with hairpin turns to navigate on the road, and a 10-minute walk along an undulating, stone-paved path, so would not be suitable for guests in a wheelchair or who have difficulty walking. However, for all others, the views and the engagement with chickens and sheep along the way make the access memorable and delightful. Mauro, the perfect host, will transport your luggage on his electric cart and will show you all the ins and outs of making the fire, operating the TV and is always available to provide help or advice as needed. ten minutes drive away is the L'Abbaie restaurant where, if you're lucky, you might encounter George Clooney. And if he's not there, the Gin Wall displaying 100 different types of gin is worth the visit. Enjoy!

Wir waren vor 3 Jahren bereits in der Unterkunft nebenan vom selben Vermieter und können unsere damalige Begeisterung auch für diese Unterkunft teilen. Sie liegt ganz idyllisch und ruhig abseits der Hauptstraße und hat einen wundervollen Blick auf See und Berge. Man kann nicht direkt am Haus Parken. Mauro unterstützt aber mit einem kleinen elektronischen Wagen, das Gepäck zu transportieren. Ein kostenfreier Parkplatz befindet sich unweit der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich, hell und freundlich und man hat alles, was man braucht. Mauro hilft einem bei jeglichen Fragen weiter und hatte auch hilfreiche Vorschläge bzgl. Wanderungen und Ausflügen.

Magnifique séjour malgré une météo un peu capricieuse. Mauro est très présent et à l'écoute, il parle français à la perfection ce qui nous a bien aidé. Superbes vues depuis les balcons et la terrasse. Le sentier pour accéder au logement lui donne tout son charme !Nous recommandons également le café et petit déjeuner au village de Cremia et la supérette qui se trouve juste en face, à qq minutes en montant à pied! Schönes ursprüngliches Ferienhaus im Norden des Comersees

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Ferienwohnung war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Lage ist gut für die Besichtigung des mittleren Comersees. Mauro ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz befindet sich 5 Minuten vom Haus entfernt aber so genießt man die Aussicht und entschleunigt direkt.

Wirklich Pace...

Insgesamt war es sehr schön. Allerdings sollte man im Winter gerne mit Holz heizen und nicht sehr verfroren sein. Mauro ist als Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar!

Erholung pur!

Wir hatten 5 traumhafte Tage im La Pace. Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft ist stimmig und Mauro ist ein zuvokommender, hifsbereiter und charmanter Gastgeber. Vom Parkplatz zur Unterkunft muss man etwas laufen, entschleunigt aber von Anfang an und man reduziert sich auf das Westentliche. :-) Mauro ist sehr hilfsbereit mit dem Gepäcktransport.

Urlaub in Cremia

Wir hatten eine schöne ruhige Zeit. Das Haus ist zwar etwas abseits, hat aber dennoch eine Zentrale Lage am Comer See. Zimmer sind Top, Küchengeräte sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Auto steht leider etwas Abseits und zum Haus muss man etwas zu Fuß gehen. ggeklommen

Schönes Ferienhaus mit traumhaftem Blick
