A particularly good villa with much to enjoy!
I have some detailed comments about the villa that I would like to include, however the website only allows a maximum of 1,500 characters which is far too little. Here is a summary:
My overall impression of the villa is very positive. It has plenty of space, the rooms are large (ceiling height is crazy!), and the facilities are very good, and in good order.
The kitchen is small for the size of the villa, just one side of the open living space that contains all appliances. This leaves barely enough room for preparation, so don’t plan any big parties! This may not be a big deal if you go out a lot. Easily however the smallest kitchen I have seen in a villa.
The most disappointing aspect of this villa I found was the swimming pool. The pool is integrated to the side of the villa, underneath the main bedroom upstairs. As such 2/3rds of the pool is roofed over by the villa, and so never benefits from the warmth of the sun. This meant the pool was very cold, even on the hottest days. The pool does not get enough sunlight. I was the only one in the family who therefore extensively used the pool, although I could only stay around 20 minutes due to the coldness. In contrast the temperature of the sea was wonderful.
On a positive note, the owner, Andreas, was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout the whole of our trip. He went the extra mile on our last day to allow us to stay in an adjoining villa as our flight was a late evening one.Andreas was always very quick to answ..
