Roaring Fork Suite at High West Spa House

The Roaring Fork Suite is a thoughtfully restored historic retreat in the heart of downtown Glenwood Springs, designed for comfort, relaxation, and mountain adventure. Spend the day exploring downtown before returning to a peaceful space quiet individual room climate control, premium HEPA air purification, and blackout bedroom shades. As part of High West Spa House, guests also enjoy shared access to the High West Spa, featuring a Finnish sauna, cold plunge, and recovery lounge.

Coming December 2026: Outdoor hot tub and patio. Available for stays beginning in December. Please note: This amenity is part of High West Spa and is shared with guests staying in other accommodations on the property.

Please Note: that although the listing displays 2 bedrooms, only 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom will be available for stays through December 15 while we complete the second ensuite bedroom. Rates have already been adjusted to reflect this, and photos will be updated once construction is complete.

Originally built circa 1888, High West Spa House blends historic Victorian character with warm natural textures, thoughtfully curated modern comforts, and restorative spaces designed for slower mornings and relaxed mountain evenings. Leave the car behind and enjoy one of Glenwood Springs’ most walkable locations—restaurants, breweries, cafés, shopping, hot springs, the Roaring Fork River, hiking trails, the train station, and local entertainment are all within an easy stroll of your front door.

Relax and recharge in the shared High West Spa, featuring a Finnish sauna, cold plunge, and indoor recovery lounge. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of hiking, biking, skiing, or simply seeking a moment of relaxation, the spa offers a peaceful retreat just steps from your suite.

Great place to stay when in Glenwood Springs. Easy to walk to all the shoppes and to the hot springs pool. Highly recommend!!

The house had everything we needed for our 4-day stay. The host was extremely responsive and kind and the location was walking distance from everything! I can not say enough good things about the spa! The sauna was lovely and the cold plunge was nice and cold- just how I like it! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The most important factor for us is cleanliness. The property was clean!! Location is perfect for walking to downtown shops, hot springs, etc. The only thing we wished was different is that we could hear the guests in the other half of the duplex. Still, we would stay here again.
