Comfortable beds & great AC during hot Munich summer

Location was about 10-15 walk to the old town. Apartment was cool & quiet, just what we needed during a hest wave.

Family stay

The property itself was as described and was very pleasant for our family of 4. The space was nice and clean and we enjoyed the air conditioning on the hot days. We were not crazy about the neighborhood/surrounding area but were only there a few days so we made it work. Location to train station was helpful though as we used that daily.

Short trip to Munich

We had an early flight back to the US after traveling with the family. The apartment was nice and close to the Munich HBF. The outdoor spaces were a plus.

2 Days in Munich for Christmas

Apartment was wonderful. Exceptionally clean and everything we needed for our short stay. Very close to the central train station but a decent walk to the old town area where the Christmas Markets were.

Very clean, modern apartment with many amenities.

Multiple balconies, clean, modern, accommodations. It even had heated floors! Very nice place to stay.

The apartment was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was cold. The location isn't great. Didn't feel super safe with 2 young kids and an elderly family member traveling with us. It was a quick walk out of the neighbourhood but we made a point of returning before dark.

Munich for 2 days

Family stay - as advertised. Able to walk from train station and to main square where many of tours started. Clean and comfortable!

Clean and quiet property. Not the greatest neighborhood… several strip clubs nearby and streets sort of dingy. About 15 minutes brisk walk to Marienplatz. Nice that it was a short walk to Hbf.Host did not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or laundry soap. Someone entered the apartment on our second day without communicating with us.

Great place!

Clean, modern, across the street from a delicious Cafè with a wonderful dessert shop also right next door. Property managers are very responsive. We had an issue with the air conditioning and it was fixed right away! A convenient walk to a couple of train station options, easy to get around.

Excellent

This apartment is lovely. It is clean, modern, and perfectly located-near both the hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. The only thing it’s missing is a few kitchen items(cutting board and cooking utensils).

The apartment was OK. Nothing special. It did have ice cold air conditioner. Which was very important because it was super hot. The location is absolutely horrific. Very close to the train station. I felt like I was in the Middle East. Not Germany. not one friendly look or gesture from anyone. So to summarize, the apartment is fine. The location is terrible.

Three Nights in Munich

The apartment exceeded our expectations! It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The modern decor was lovely; we enjoyed having balconies on both sides of the apartment - the Smart tv was a great "extra" as was having a dishwasher and a washing machine for clothes. The construction on the street made it a little difficult to initially find our way, but we quickly learned our way around. We became regular customers at the bakery/coffee shop across the street as well as picking up food to go at the falafel/doener vendor next to the apartment. Across the street we dicovered the Schiller brewery and restaurant. Our host Ali met us at the apartment to check us in and show us around and was extremely responsive to questions. Each of us would definitely return the next time we come to Munich. Thank you for the wonderful apartment!

Deceiving

We were very disappointed in this property. The pictures were accurate (minus staged decor) but the listed amenities were not. The air conditioning didn’t work, there was no shampoo in either shower, no hair dryer and there was a washing machine but no detergent. The pillows on both beds were sham sized so super uncomfortable to sleep with and at least the bed that I slept in was slanted. The location was walkable to a lot and very close to the train station. The apartment was clean and updated!

Nice Munich Apt

We LOVED the apt. It's very clean, modern & offers a lot of space. All photos are accurate. Both rooms are large with nice & roomy en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms & bathrooms have access to balcony at the backside of apt. Livingroom has access to a balcony on front side of apt which faces Schillerstraße. Showers are excellent with good water pressure, temperature, both having a rainfall shower overhead and a handheld shower head. In the kitchen there's a small washing machine (no dryer). We didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked. The apt was about a 10min walk from the train station. A nice man met us there at our arrival with a key and escorted us in and up to the apt. There's a small elevator to get to the flat. You use key to get in building and again, at the apt door. We could not be happier with the apartment itself, my only hesitation is the street the apt is on. Schillerstraße is a bit sketchy with lots of stores selling gold & iphones (and I don't mean apple stores) and strip clubs. That whole area doesn't seem very "German" like. With that said, we were safe and the apartment was absolutely perfect. Note that VRBO has the apt pinned on the corner of Zweigstraße & Bayerstraße in one of its descriptions which caused me a little confusion b/c that's not where it is (it's a few blocks down from that location). By the time we arrived I understood the discrepancy b/c the host had contacted me with correct address. The apt was wonderful and very clean.
Door to apt is under this sign and a wonderful cafe for morning coffee is just steps around the corner.
