Summary:

This charming home is one mile from Alyeska Resort surrounded by beautiful spruce and hemlock trees. Spacious shared spaces, a stocked kitchen, three bedrooms and a pull-out couch, two full bathrooms, a backyard with a fire pit, and a large driveway with a timber framed pavilion make this a lovely place to spend time on your vacation. It is located high enough on Max's mountain to get snow when the valley receives rain. It has a charming interior, big windows, a covered deck and mountain views.



The Space:

This charming Girdwood family home is located one mile from Alyeska Ski Resort and Spa at the base of Max’s Mountain, the property is surrounded by beautiful spruce and hemlock trees and offers stunning mountain views.



The home features three bedrooms (one king and two queens) and a full-size pull-out couch in the upper family room. The main bedroom includes an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bathroom has a tub/shower. The interior includes a downstairs living room with a gas fireplace and a covered deck, while the upstairs living area provides vaulted ceilings, a family room, work desk, coffee station, wet bar and a mini fridge.



Outside, you will find a spacious backyard with a fire pit, a large driveway, and a timber-frame pavilion for outside gatherings or covered parking. Please note that access to the main floor and upper levels requires using stairs.

Guest Access:

Access includes stairs on the outside to the main floor, and there are also stairs inside to the upper two bedrooms and upstairs work station/living area.



Other Things to Note:

This is a family home while the family is away, and is a new rental. We'd like to make it a wonderful spot for visitor's and welcome suggestions or feedback. Most of all, we want folks to have a wonderful stay in Girdwood, and would love to help make that happen.



Interaction with Guests:

Communication through the airbnb application is an easy way to communicate. The property manager, Jane, has her cell phone listed in the House Book - please feel free to call or text her. Jane lives in Girdwood down the street and can come by to trouble shoot anything if needed.
