Welcome to Bella Marea, a true beachfront getaway in Galveston’s laid-back Sea Isle community on the quieter West End. With the beach directly in front of the house, you can watch the sunrise over the Gulf, grab your beach gear and have your toes in the sand moments later—no driving or searching for parking.



Recently refreshed with a bright coastal feel, Bella Marea is designed for relaxed beach trips with family and friends. The open living, dining and kitchen area offers Gulf views and plenty of space to gather for morning coffee, family meals and evenings together.

Property is super nice and recently renovated. Location to the beach cannot be beat and is right on a location where cars are not driving. Host was very responsive and you can tell they care for the property and have various items to use on the beach to use.

We’re a husband-and-wife team who live in Pearland, Texas, and have always loved spending time along the Gulf Coast. We created Bella Marea as a place where families and friends can slow down, enjoy the beach, and make great memories together. We fell in love with this home because of its incredible beachfront location—the Gulf and sunrise are right outside the door, while beautiful sunsets over West Bay are just a short walk away. We take pride in making Bella Marea comfortable, welcoming and well-equipped with the little things that make a beach vacation easier. Since we live nearby, we’re also happy to give recommendations to our favorite restaurants and attractions. We hope you enjoy Bella Marea and Sea Isle as much as we do!

We chose Bella Marea for one simple reason: the location is hard to beat. There’s something special about waking up, looking out toward the Gulf and realizing the beach is right in front of you. No packing up the car, searching for parking or making a long trek with chairs and beach gear—just grab what you need and head to the sand. We also fell in love with Sea Isle. It has the relaxed feel we wanted from a Galveston beach community while offering much more than just the beach. There’s a fishing pier, boat ramp, seasonal community pool, marina, neighborhood store, and a waterfront restaurant and bar nearby. One of our favorite things about the location is getting the best of both sides of the island. In the morning, you can watch the sun rise over the Gulf from the house. In the evening, walk over to the bay side and watch it set over West Bay. We wanted a home that families and friends could truly enjoy together, so we’ve worked to make Bella Marea comfortable, welcoming and easy to vacation in—from the open gathering spaces and kids’ loft to the beach chairs, wagon, canopy, games and other little things that make a beach trip easier. The name Bella Marea means “beautiful tide” in Italian, and it captures what we love most about this place: the Gulf, the beach and the slower pace that comes with being by the water. We hope Bella Marea becomes a place where our guests make the kind of beach memories they’ll want to come back to year after year.
