As a host, I like things to be comfortable and welcoming, while giving guests the space to enjoy their stay in their own way.

What I love most about the area is its relaxed, local feel. We’re just a short drive from Barbados’ beautiful West Coast, but the neighbourhood gives you a chance to experience everyday island life. I enjoy sitting outside, watching the world go by: people passing, cars going by and the rhythm of the community around us. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, especially in the mornings and evenings, while still being within easy reach of beaches, restaurants, shopping and everything the West Coast has to offer.

Maison O’Connor feels like a little home away from home: comfortable, spacious and peaceful, with room to slow down and enjoy Barbados at your own pace. The two-bedroom apartment offers air-conditioned comfort, a relaxed outdoor living area and additional sleeping space with a pull-out futon, accommodating up to six guests. I especially love the outdoor space in the mornings and evenings, perfect for a cup of coffee, a quiet conversation or simply enjoying the island atmosphere. It’s a great choice for couples, families or small groups who want the privacy and comfort of a home, away from the busy tourist areas while still being close to the beautiful West Coast. And while you have your own private space, I’m close enough to help if you need me.
