Lovely quiet but central villa

We were two families sharing this villa, so had a floor each. The downstairs kitchen was well equipped, while the upstairs would have been tricky to cook in. However it would have been nice to have some basics like bin bags, dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper. There was also a bath upstairs but none downstairs. The bedrooms were all a good size and each had a fan and good storage. The downstairs lounge had a DVD player and cable but we couldn’t get the latter to work. The pool was lovely and was regularly cleaned early in the morning. The loungers were comfy and there were lots of them. The villa is a short walk from both Cala Egos, with its many family-friendly restaurants, and the Cala D’Or Marina, with its smart elegant eateries. There are lots of small Spar shops and a larger Eroski nearby. To walk into Cala D’Or centre it’s about 30 mins and to the nearest beach at Cala D’es Pous is about 15. It was really quiet and yet really central. We’d highly recommend Don Leone in central Cala D’Or and Pizza Il Peperone in Cala Egos. Both were amazing!

Villa excellent with everything we needed, although must admit we would have liked to have been closer to a beach. One worrying aspect, two people had cash taken from wallets. OK we should have kept kitchen door locked when by the pool but with 11 people in and out it wasnt really an option. Concerned that keys kept in key box by gate and suspect anyone could have watched the code number, got a key cut and used front door at any time!!?? Not a particularly secure system, even if code frequently changed. Residents nearby could easily zoom in and see key pad being used. Apart from losing a fair amount of cash we had great week.

Gutes Ferienhaus mit guter Lage für den Preis

Pool/ Gartenbereich sehr klein. Wenig Platz zum liegen,besonders wenn 12 Personen im Haus wohnen. Ebenso eng der Essbereich auf der Terrasse. Die Plastikmöbel sind noch dazu wenig einladend .Der wohnbereich selber ist gut.2 seperate Wohnungen a 6 Personen.Allerdings gab es in der oberen Küche keinerlei Besteck oder Geschirr....wir haben zwar unten immer zusammen gegessen,aber wer das nicht will....schlecht .Ebenso könnte es mehr Möglichkeiten zum Wäsche aufhängen geben. Die Lage war super. Man war überall schnell u konnte auch zu Fuss alles mögliche erreichen. Reinigung war ok und es gab deutsches Fernsehen.

Fantastic week

10 family members have just returned from the Casa Sebastiana and we would recommend it to anyone. It is well maintained; the kitchen being dated, but with everything you need to cook for a large family. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and the showers are good, with plenty of power. The pool was cleaned during our stay, as it is inevitable that suncreams will cloud it after a few days. The kids spent most of their day in the pool, while the adults sunned themselves on the beds, of which there were enough for the whole party. The villa was in a quiet residential area, turn right out of the drive, then right again past the bins, and left at the end of the road and you are at the start of the marina, with a Spar shop selling everything you need. (About a 5 min walk). The trains into the centre of Cala D'Or stop here, and for 3 euros each, you can spend a full hour touring the resort, bringing you back again. I recommend Cala Gran & Cala Esmerelda beaches. If you turn left out of the villa and follow the road straight across the main road, there is a small bowling alley in a bar on the left. This takes you to the small resort of cala Egos, which is nice for an evening stroll. There are a few restaurants too, all reasonably priced. My only gripe would be the lack of air conditioning in the villa. The rep (Juliette) was fantastic and I would go back anytime.
