Chalet with private pool in Cala Egos (Cala d’Or) ideal for beach holidays, welcomes 8 guests

You won’t want to be in another place but the beautiful exterior area of this house. Of course, the central element is the chlorine pool sizing 7 x 4 metres and with a depth between 0.8 and 1.9 metres, around which you will enjoy the sun and weather the wonderful gardened area full of sunbeds. By the house, you will find the porch, ideal to have lunch or dinner outside while the little ones take a dip or play. You can also prepare delicious barbecues. . There is another terrace on the first floor, a little corner to relax at night and watch the starry sky. The property is fenced and there are attached neighbours.

The 250m2 house has two floors. On the ground floor you can rest in the living -dining room and watch the satellite television. It shares room with the dining area which can easily accommodate up to 8 people. The kitchen is independent and fully equipped, including a ceramic hob. There are 4 bedrooms to rest in the house. There are two of them on the ground floor and both feature twin beds, a wardrobe and a fan. A shower bathroom completes this storey. On the first floor you will find the other two bedrooms. One has a double bed, fan, wardrobe and an en-suite shower bathroom. The last one counts with twin beds, fan, wardrobe and exit to the terrace. There is also a bathroom with a shower for this floor. In addition, in the house you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board, and the living room and bedrooms are air-conditioned.

This chalet is located in a quiet urbanization of Cala Egos in Cala d’Or. The nearest beach is that of Caló des Pou. It is a white sandy beach and it counts with date palms and trees to stay away from the sun. It is an environment characterised by a great natural beauty. Only 0.1 maritime mile away you will find the Cala d’Or marina. You can visit the ��Fortí”, a military fortification from 1730 which is now a museum. The town of Cala d’Or is quite near and there you will find the basic services for your stay. You can also visit Santanyí and the Mondragó Natural Park.

Check in was very smooth and we was able to leave our suitcases in the villa as we arrived early, this aloud us to be able to have a walk around and see what was about. The kitchen facilities were very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

The house amazing. Right next to the restaurant and a 10 minute walk not even to down town. 10 minute walk to one beach and 30 minute walk to another great beach! My friends and I loved it. The grocery store is also around a 10 minute walk which was great

Very clean and great location

The villa and pool area were very clean and the gardens were beautifully kept. Unfortunately there was an ant issue in the kitchen and we couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. We made sure to not to leave any food out and we bought traps but they were very persistent.

Cala d’or holiday

The villa is a good size in a great location. You can walk to the marina, the beach and plenty of restaurants. The bedding and towels were poor quality and the outside area did not look the same as the advertised pictures. The kitchen is tiny and one plug socket was available for the kettle, toaster and microwave. We did however manage to enjoy a great week in Majorca.

The villa was in the perfect area, very nice internally, outdoor space around pool nothing like picture, needs a good clean and tidy up. Kettle had seen better days covered in limescale, TV antiquated, no maid service provided to change bedding even though we were there for 10 days, very overpriced compared to other villas I have stayed at in Majorca, other than that we had a lovely holiday and would definatley go back if these things were attended to.

Ein verfluchter Urlaub

Der Aufenthalt fing schin damit an, dass uns wenige Tage vor Reiseantritt mitgeteilt wurde, dass wir die finca einen Tag vorher verlassen müssen, als gebucht. Mit einem 5 Monate alten Baby und Kleinkind eine Katastrophe, aber wir hatten keine andere Wahl. Die Finca an sich war schön, jedoch teilweise in schlechter Verfassung und stark Sanierungsbedürftig. So sehr, dass während unseres Aufenthaltes eine alte Leitung platzte und ca. 150 L kochend heißes Wassser aus der Küche spritzen und sich im Erdgeschoss verteilten. Dabei hätten wir uns sehr verletzen können, aber hatten Glück. Die Sauberkeit in der Finca ließ zu wünschen übrig. Alles wurde nur mal oberflächlich durchgewischt und wenn man genauer hinsah, war es in der Küche teilweise echt dreckig. An einem anderen Tag viel der Strom für einen kompletten Tag in der Finca aus. Es war wie verhext. Wir würden Homerti und die Finca in keinem Fall weiterempfehlen. Es ist so viel schief gelaufen und die Homerti konnte nicht wirklich Abhilfe schaffen. Sehr schade, dass unser Urlaub so ausfiel. De Ort Cala D'Or ist dafür wunderschön.

Nicht das, was wir erwartet hatten

Leider entsprechen die Fotos der Anlage nicht der Realität. Der ganze Garten ist ziemlich ungepflegt. Leider wurde neben unserem Pool die Strasse aufgerissen. Aus diesem Grund konnten wir an zwei Tagen den Garten nicht benutzen, da es massiv staubte und lärmte (HOMERI zeigte sich nicht kulant, es sei nicht ihr Problem...). Die Einrichtung im Haus ist veraltet, in der Küche klebt alles, Besteck und Küchengeräte sind alt und billig. Die Lage ist sehr gut und dank der tollen Radtouren konnten wir unseren Urlaub trotzdem geniessen.

Perfektes Haus für Familien

Am Ankunft Tag haben wir um 14.30 das Objekt erreicht. Nach kurzem Telefonat mit der Agentur durften wir schon früher einchecken. Das Haus ist genauso wie in der Beschreibung. Es gibt 2 Wäsche Ständer und für alle in jedem Zimmer noch zusätzliche Kissen und Decken. Es fehlte nichts . Der Pool war sauber und genug Platz für alle. Alle elektrischen Geräte waren in einem guten und sauberen Zustand . Zu bemängeln gibt es nicht viel. Ein Stuhl ist sehr abgenutzt und beim Sofa ist am Kopfteil eine Metallstrebe freiliegend. Beim Eintreffen war eine Klobürste noch verschmutzt. Trotzdem ist das Haus absolut wunderbar und empfehlenswert. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre es schön am ersten Tag eventuell eine Handseife ,Spülmittel und Mückenspray vorzufinden.😊 Die Lage : Das Haus liegt gegenüber eines Irish Pub . Es ist dort aber nie zu laut . Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 700 m Nähe und zahlreiche Restaurants . In dem Bereich gibt es auch günstige Mietwagen . Strände sind fußläufig zu erreichen und nicht überfüllt. Auch die Busverbindung vom Flughafen ist optimal,man muss nur einmal umsteigen und die Haltestelle ist in der Nähe des Hauses. Wer ein freistehendes Haus mit Pool für seine Familie sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

We werden super ontvangen door Elena, ze was nog druk met de schoonmaak om 11 uur, maar wij mochten al lekker bij het zwembad zitten. Zo ook de terugreis mochten we er langer verblijven, super fijn. Ook kregen we regelmatig een heerlijke meloen van haar. Als er wat was, een lampje kapot of iets dergelijks, stonden ze dezelfde dag nog voor je klaar om het op te lossen. Alles op loop afstand, strand, winkel en eetgelegenheden. In t huis is alles aanwezig, handdoeken, lakens, wasmachine , oven, föhn, dus top. Enige wat we vinden was dat de tuin/zwembad op de foto er beter uitzag dan in werkelijkheid, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Aanrader…

Das Haus war sehr schön, sauber und großzügig und trotz der Straße ruhig gelegen. Es gibt ausreichen Platz und der Pool ist toll. Alles nötige ist fußläufig zu erreichen - Supermarkt, Restaurants, Shops und kleine Strandbuchten. Die Bilder in der Anzeige sind aufpoliert worden aber trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die kleinen Buchten waren nie so leer wie auf den Bildern, aber trotzdem schön. Wir mussten für 6 Nächte 55 Euro „Ökosteuer“ bezahlen, was vorher nicht angekündigt würde. Eine Quittung gab es nicht. Das war das einzig komische.
