The cottage is located very close to the beach. It is an old property and could have been cleaner, it provides almost everything you need for a vacation stay. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, kitchenware, and a BBQ grill. The hosts also provide camping chairs for the beach, children’s toys, books, and board games. However, the cottage is cluttered with old items that are not useful for guests, which makes the space feel less comfortable. It’s worth bringing your own shower gel and shampoo - there were none on site. The cottage is cluttered with old items that are not useful for guests, which makes the space feel less comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms are not fully enclosed — the upper part of the walls near the roof is open — and combined with thin wooden doors, this means there is little privacy in those rooms. We also experienced a few inconveniences. The host confused our check-in date with another booking and asked us to arrive a day later. This caused us difficulties, as we had already planned a two-day trip to PEI and had to find alternative accommodation for one night. The host did refund that night and even suggested we extend our stay at another cottage for a couple of days, though unfortunately, this was not possible due to our travel schedule and work commitments. On the actual check-in day, the host contacted us a few hours before arrival and asked us to come an hour later because the cottage was not yet ready.
