This was our second visit…superb as previous

John is a consummate host…and the apartment is perfect! Views and proximity to Lunenburg are above and beyond. The only negative is spotty WiFi.

Wonderful accommodations

We spent a week at this VRBO rental and it was exactly as listed, the owners were lovely and very accommodating. An easy walk to the Lunenburg waterfront, shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this spot and hope that we can return some day.

Perfect spot

Such a perfect location in Lunenberg with the perfect view of the iconic port. The accommodation is just lovely with all you would ever need for a stay away from home. The host was really welcoming and attentive.

Incredible view of downtown Lunenburg & harbour. Tastefully decorated, clean. Kitchen dining room excellent for meal preparation as needed. Hosts Gail & John very friendly.

Beautiful View

A great place to stay while visiting the Lunenburg area. The owners were helpful with any questions we had. The view across the harbour was stunning. The property was very spacious and met all our needs. Would definitely return.

Wonderful, beautiful apartment, with views of the ocean

The property was gorgeous! Right across from a little beach on the ocean. The view was incredible, as was the apartment. It was even better than the pictures, with lots of room and sitting areas inside and out. Great restaurants and little shops are a short walk away in the center of Lunenburg. Extremely comfortable and wonderful stay!

Lovely granny suite

We loved our stay at this property in Lunenburg. It’s a suite with spacious and well appointed, the kitchen had all of the utensils and appliances you would ever need. The owners are lovely. We would highly recommend if you were staying for a week or longer.

Beautiful view!

We had a wonderful stay in Lunenburg. The view across the water from the apartment to the harbour is second to none. The apartment was exactly as described - very spacious and with everything that one would need for an enjoyable stay. John was a terrific host and very accommodating. We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Location & Views

This place was exactly as described. It had all the necessary amenities including a washer & dryer. There was no dishwasher but it wasn’t an issue for us. The view of the harbour from the living room was amazing and all the many restaurants & shops just a short 10 minute walk away.

This property is lovely. Amazing views from the big picture window and the seating area set up especially for guests to enjoy a morning coffee on a private patio. John was great to work with. He and Gail gave us perfect restaurant suggestions. Close to Mahones Bay and Peggys Cove.

Perfect Lunenburg Location

This apartment is in a great location in Lunenburg. It really does have a million dollar view of the harbour!! Restaurants and shopping are all in walking distance. The apartment has everything that you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The hosts, John & Gail are great and so friendly ! When I come back to Lunenburg, I would definitely stay here again!!

Work retreat

Comfortably furnished, spacious place with an inspiring view of Lunenburg and sunrises and easy walking / biking to restaurants, bars, attractions (Blue Rocks, La Have). Many deer in area provide extra entertainment (max seen on front lawn = 7!) Would stay again.

The twin beds were not comfortable and if you are accustomed to a dishwasher, there isn’t one. The view was amazing! Very nice owners.

Bequeme Wohnung mit herrlichem Blick

Eine wunderschön gelegene Wohnung, die ausgezeichnet ausgestattet ist. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt sehr viel Stauraum für das Gepäck. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Innenstadt von Lunenburg ist in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
