Great Location

We came out for a relaxing week in Maui during granddaughter's spring break. And that is exactly what we got ... close to the beach and many restaurants. And the kitchen had all the basic cooking supplies you need. Thanks for a great week in paradise!!

Family holiday in Paradise

A great place to stay. Within walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shops. The pool area was well tended. The owner was great , always quick to get back us. The only issue we had was with the size of the parking stalls. They are definitely meant for smaller vehicles.

You just can't go wrong staying in Maui, and having a beautiful place to stay made it even better. Everything was perfect and thank you. We will be back again.

Great location and good deal

We loved being able to walk across to the beach whenever we were around, it is a great location. We especially liked having the snorkeling gear to use. Property was decorated tastefully, bedding was particularly good, and great location of condo. Minuses would be a tropical climate is difficult to adjust to, so the air conditioning didn't cool the bedrooms very well, but there was lots of fans.

Great location and reasonable price

It was great having the stuff for our toddler there. Mostly updated and cozy. It filled all our needs. The only complaint we had was that it was a little warm in the bedrooms (it was a particularly hot week) so we purchased a couple of fans and that solved the problem. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great Weekend Stay

Spent a long weekend here with the family and would definitely stay again. Location is easy to find & check in instructions were provided. Condo is walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. Kitchen had plenty of cookware for dinners and laundry machines in this unit are large to do family sized loads, so nobody had to take home wet bathing suits. Condo complex does not allow towels,etc. hung outside on patio. Size of unit was perfect for our group of 6, enough space to relax and not feel crowded at all. Neighborhood was quiet & I felt safe the entire stay.

It needs updating. Only one of 4 t.v.'s worked. Washing machine broke during a cycle,. We had to hand rinse the clthes that were in there and wring them out. Notified host, no response. Equipment was dirty. Had to wash out cooler before we could use it. Floors were dirty. No air conditioner in one of the bedrooms and the fan didn't work. Parking spaces small.Pros:Good location. Easy check in. Pool nice, good temperature. Hot tub good. No problems with hot water in condo with 8 people.

Good

The property manager was very kind & a great communicator. The condo could have been cleaner. We found dirty dishes in the cabinet & the dishwasher had food chunks in it when we opened it. We cleaned the dishwasher, but decided to wash all the dishes by hand instead of trying to use the dishwasher. It was great to have 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. The area was amazing, it was awesome to be able to walk to beaches, shops, & restaurants. The location couldn't have been better. Overall our trip was fantastic.

The location of this property is amazing. You can walk to several shops, beaches and restaurants. But when we arrived the condo was very dirty and rundown. Lots of things were broken, there was mold on the shower and an inch on dust on the blinds and the blinds could not be open or closed as it was missing the cords and stick. The tile had cracks and the fridge drawer was broken. The toilet didn’t have a cover for the bottom screws. And the tv cabinet was missing a few shelves and the knob for the drawer. I didn’t realize the owner lived on the east coast so when I was texting her she didn’t answer right away. She was very nice and got back to me quickly but needs to update and fix a lot of things. I felt like I could have gotten better for how much we paid. It did have AC and lots of chairs and beach towels we could borrow. Overall it’s an old condo, and small for 7 people.

Place was not clean

The location was wonderful. Very short walk to the beach and town. Unit was not clean, very dusty throughout, tubs were clogged with hair and gunk and moldy, food in the couch, washer had mold and smelled bad, bathroom fans were clogged with grime, shower head had mold on them, broken remote control fan unit, electrical issue in 1 bathroom, stove and dishwasher were not attached, dishwasher was dirty, sheets had stains, frig had cracked pieces, microwave appeared to have some melting damage. and other issues- property manager (who also commented that we should be compensated for the cleaning fees and that the unit needed a deep cleaning and took photos also) came to unclog the tubs and clean some of the moldy areas. I asked the owner for compensation of the cleaning fees due to the unclean unit (and offered to send photos) and the owners response was not positive or professional. I am hoping these items were addressed before the next guests arrival.

Wonderful and relaxing

We looked as several rentals and decided on this unit at Pacific Shores. It was a wonderful unit as it was recently renovated and the actual unit was as advertised on the VRBO site. The unit and Pacific Shores complex is pretty well maintained and quite clean. This is difficult to do for an older complex. Great job by the property manager and owners. The owner, Rebecca, stocks the unit with all the items for you and your little ones to enjoy. Stocked kitchen, linens, towels, beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. Just show up and enjoy. Location is very convenient as it is a 5 minute walk to Kamaole beach 1 and 15 minute walk to Food Land. The owner provides great service and great information if it your first time to Maui. She gave us a late check out which was a life saver for us as our flight was late into the evening. Only minor inconveniences: hot tub by the pool was out of service for a couple days and the unit had a squashed bug in the bathroom. We would definitely rent again and would recommend to others. Great Kihei location/ lots of rules

The condo is located very central to Kihei. Easy to walk around for shopping and food. Condo is a little more used than pictures relay. No closet doors so utilities ie. water heater are exposed and furniture is falling apart in dining and living room. Rules on the property are too strict especially at the pool. There is an actual security guard to make sure kids don't have toys or jump in. Not allowed even a water bottle at the hot tub. Parking spots are very small.

Christmas with the family in Maui

Loved the condo and the short distance to the beach. Rebecca was great in responding to our question about access to the pool. Our family consisted of 6 adults and one toddler. The bedrooms provided more than enough beds and the condo was big enough for us to enjoy our family Christmas. We will definitely come back and stay at that condo

Enjoyed the vacation

Excellent location - property can handle a lot of people. The condo is slightly older thank I would have expected with popcorn ceilings. Overall I loved it and we enjoyed the beautiful beaches that Maui can offer.

One week stay in Maui with group of 12

Rebecca was wonderful to book with as she responded quickly and was very accommodating. Location to the beach was nice. The exterior of the building left a lot to be desired. The property itself is nice but much smaller than it appears in the photos. The dryer needs to be serviced as it would take 2-3 cycles to dry a load. Overall a great place for the price.

Well maintained condo

The condo was just as described and the location worked perfectly for us - walking distance to beaches, convenience store nearby. Rebecca was really good in responding to messages. Just a reminder - this is a self service apartment, so dont expect the pantry to be stocked. It is listed in the description too.

Beautiful condo with comfortable amount of space

We really enjoyed our time here and Rebecca was a wonderful host. We had two families (total 9 people) and felt that the space was a comfortable amount. We appreciated the amenities, especially the laundry machines, towels, beach supplies (chairs and umbrellas), as well as the location of the condo. It was nice to have easy access to the beach, pool, and delicious restaurants nearby. Thanks for the stay, Rebecca!

Wonderful place to stay

This condo was just across the street from the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk. They also had a wonderfully pool area where we could use an outdoor grill. We had eleven in our group and although it was a little tight it was definitely doable you just have to be good friends. This would be perfect for a group of 8 or 9. This condo was very clean and it had everything we needed to prepare and eat meals. The washer and dryer were a great benefit. We would definitely stay here again.
