Spacious. Beautiful. Perfect location. Yard was a plus for outdoor play. Double washer and dryer was a bonus, as was outdoor shower. Coffee shops, restaurants and grocery just a short walk away. Perfect home for a beach vacation.

Beautiful location and great accomodation

Overall great experience on the beach with friends and family. Plenty of space to stay on a great beach on Mission Bay. Water activities nearby and restaurants. The home was clean, and spacious and matched the listing. Highly recommend. Flawless stay begging to the end.

Location! Location! Location!

I was awestruck when we walked through the front door. The view was picture perfect, and only got better on the second and third floor. Then we realized how beautiful the Villa was. Decor is tasteful and thoughtful. The location allowed us to go easily between Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, but return to the quiet of the bayside.

Exceptional property, in an ideal location

We used this property for a family reunion. We cooked dinner every night in the best outfitted kitchen I have experienced in a rental vacation property. It slept nine very comfortably. On the beach. Literally five seconds walk to the sand beach on the bay and a three minute walk to the ocean beach. One maintenance issue which Bluewater responded to within ten minutes. Pretty happy customers!

Perfect!

Our group of nine people stayed here recently, also utilizing a double queen room at the Catamaran Resort next door. This unit was fabulous. Obviously, the location is unsurpassed, and is absolutely gorgeous. The bay is beautiful, and the wonderful beach is literally a two minute walk away. Check-in was easy, the place had everything we could have wanted, the beds were comfy, and we had a wonderful time. If there are any issues, it would be the ongoing construction on Mission Blvd, but that just meant we had to drive an extra block or two before pulling a u-turn back to the unit. The garages have no extra room, but we fit two full-size SUVs in there (had to load and unload in the alley, though!). Would go back in a heartbeat!

Perfect Southern Cali Getaway!

We could not have asked for a better beach property for our 4 adult, 6 children adventure to Mission Bay. The home was equipped with everything we needed (and more) including an elaborate gift basket upon our arrival. The location was spectacular : kids walked out to the Bay to play, we rented water toys and multi person bikes steps away from the home, and adults could get quick runs along the bay boardwalk in the mornings. Then across the street was the ocean where kids could splash in the waves and take Surf lessons if they chose! The home Is close proximity to great restaurants and grocery stores. My only complaint, which the owner has no control over, was all the construction in the ally and next store. There was constant commotion but it did not get in the way of our fabulous escape! Highly recommended! Worth every penny!

It was an awesome place! Had only a few issues…one of the queen bedrooms said it was actually two twin beds…noticed later in their book on the premises it is called the Twin Room… and not an en-suite room as described as bathroom is outside the room across small hallway…and one other queen room was more the size of a double bed? Possibly a disconnect between VRBO and management? Should also mention that it is a spiral staircase to get to each level. Kitchen is completely stocked for any kind of cooking needs! Owner’s property manager was super nice and attended to any issues promptly. It is in a beautiful location and can see the fireworks from Seaworld! Great place for family to relax and enjoy both the Bay and the beach just two blocks away. Highly recommend if the bedrooms work for your group. The master is large with incredible views and very comfortable! So many nice things about this unit!

Great Bay Stay

Terrific property. We had a large family gathering but many couldn't come in Sat to Sat which is necessary during peak seasons. So, they came Thurs to Tues and so forth. Terrific part is that we could book the overflow at the Catamaran which is just steps aways and essentially enjoy that property as well since we had many rooms there. Property in great shape. Two issues. It's not a two car garage. Certainly if one puts a Lexus 570 or bigger SUV in. Maybe two small cars might get wedged in, but that's it. Again, we used the Catamaran for parking of excess vehicles by putting them on a family member(s) room. Second, one towel and one bedsheet per person was not generous, especially for a longer stay--we are there two weeks.

Amazing Location!

This place was perfect for our stay. We were celebrating our daughter's graduation from SDSU and the whole family came. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. The location was amazing - right on the sand of the bay. Gorgeous mornings and evenings. I own and run three Short Term Rental Properties at home so I may look at/ obverse things a little more critically than some. The really good: * The unit is clean and well-appointed. * Great new couch - VERY comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. * Location Location Location - amazing. * Garage for the car and easy parking - Two spaces for this unit in the garage. (Shared garage - third bay is for the other unit - just make sure they remember to close their door) * Large kitchen and dining table - plenty of room for everyone. * Outdoor BBQ was clean and easy to use. * Really nice outdoor space. * Lovely gift basket on arrival - Extremely thoughtful. * Met the VERY nice "handyman" / "owner's eyes" as we left - alerted him to the maintenance issues. * Fully stocked kitchen - everything you might need. * Very nice, high-quality linens. Really appreciate this. Good to know: * The stairs are spiral (friend could not go upstairs due to vertigo) - ALL bedrooms are up the stairs. * Property Management company was hit or miss - Received automated texts from them about move-in and move out. Responsive before we moved in - NO early check-in available. I sent a message right after check-in - no response - ever. They were at the door at 10 am to check on the property - So be ready to leave right on time. * there is NO time between clients. They were still cleaning when we arrived to check-in and they were there are 10 am sharp. * The patio shares a common wall - we had the nicest neighbors EVER - but if someone not so nice is next door - it could be uncomfortable. It is also dog friendly which is fine and we are pet people - but when they left the dog behind it cried for hours - We just turned the TV up - but it might bug some people. * The remodel of the unit was very well done - but over time there is definitely some deferred maintenance that could be done - broken tile and some older appliances/kitchen items. * Blinds on the third floor are tricky and the one over the master bath was broken (let them know - so I hope it is fixed for you!) Overall it was perfect for our needs. Clean and plenty of supplies, linens, etc. The location is AMAZING.

Perfect bay condo

The location was great. With sand at your doorstep the kids were in heaven. We all had a great family retreat.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We try to be very clear upfront in the photos and listing descriptions to make sure the home meets or exceeds our guests expectations, and that is normally the case. We must have rules in place to protect the property and neighbors from excessive noise and parties. The location is incomparable, so yes, there is a premium for that. Awesome rental and service leve

Host experience was great, efficient, many prep emails, property was in great shape, they accommodated easily a 1 hour late arrival due to traffic. Truly GREAT place to stay, 5 kids, 2 adults, fit perfectly. Stunning top level room with private roof deck. Great Master suite. Commons areas beautiful, great useful kitchen. Walk out and sit on the beach. Walk next door to the resort and have a drink or grab a bite. Is like staying at the resort but in your own house. 1 mile from supermarket, easy shopping. Garage fit the Suburban with ease. Loved the place and the experience, couldn't rate it higher!"

Family Retreat

We came for our annual family retreat. Rented both of the front units. I have rented many places and this was exceptional. The photos don't do it justice. Service was excellent by the staff. The house had all kitchen items you could use (could you a couple hot mits though). The location is amazing. The Grandkids loved being able to go from the house directly to the water and we were easily able to see them. Everyone had a fabulous time. Even my 19 year old grandson and my 84 year old mother!
