Pools were great, condo dated and unkept, couch was like sandpaper, room was not clean floors were dirty, kitchen was not cleaned coffee pot still had old coffee in it.Advised the host for help…..she told us to contact theConcearge.Definitely way over priced

Stayed for 6 days at Harborside. Overall, the entire Atlantis development has lots to offer, regardless of which resort you are staying at. A free shuttle will take you around the property or you can simply walk it all. Harborside has a very large pool and lounge area. The place is spotless. There is only one food/beverage facility at Harborside but plenty of other places to eat and drink both on and off Atlantis. We booked and paid for our unit through VRBO however when we arrived, Harborside did not have our reservation in our name. The reservation number provided was for a family of 4 from New York. This caused a considerable delay coupled with the fact that there was a question whether our reservation had been paid for or not. It took the front desk at Harborside over an hour to solve the issue. Harborside stored our luggage until our room was ready for occupancy.We returned to the Harborside front desk about a half hour prior to actual check-in time and they advised our room was still not ready. They did however, offer us another room on the property with the same bed/bathroom setup so we took that. Presumably, this wasn't the same room that we had rented from the VRBO owner. Our room was in a great location and was well equipped. Because the rental period was only 6 days and not 7, no room services were included and we had to take out our own garbage and get our own clean towels. Our luggage was delivered to the wrong room but eventually located.

Best trip to the Atlantis Ever

My family went to the Atlantis the first week in July and everything was perfect. We stayed in the Harbourside two bedroom lockoff which came equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two pullout couches, four TVs and two kitchens. We played in the sun all day with the kids and had wonderful dining experiences at night. Sho was a wonderful host. We are already making plans to return. Great trip!

This is the second year I booked her property, the unit is nice and clean. The owner is very patient with us as we changed our arriving date so many times. We will definitely book with her next time when we're in town.

Great vacation!

We had a great time at harbor side Atlantis Bahamas! Booking through Sho was very easy and convenient. She helped us book our unit and even when I needed to change it to a larger unit she was very accommodating. Sho replies promptly to emails and is an honest rental agent. She recommended a driver to pick us up at the airport and coordinated that for us and we loved him! So much to do at the resort , had groceries delivered to unit without a glitch!

Best family vacation we've ever had at Harborside. Great customer service. Price can't be beat!

My family and I traveled to Harborside, Atlantis for the holidays. I did plenty of research before we booked, and booking through Sho was nearly half the price as booking through Atlantis resort. Sho was so great to work with, very quick to respond, and helpful to answer any questions. We had a one bedroom condo which accommodated 5. It was very spacious, and perfect for our family. We had a nice stocked kitchen which saved us lots of money by eating breakfast each morning on our balcony with a beautiful view of the harbor. Harborside provides a complimentary shuttle to take you all over the Atlantis property. It was very convenient, and we never had to wait. We spent everyday at the water park, which was included, and every evening at the beach. We loved every minute. I cannot say enough good things about Sho and our experience. We have traveled all over the world as a family, and this was definitely our favorite vacation to date. We will most definitely be back!

BEST VACATION EVER!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

What a GREAT Vacation!!!! Everything was smooth and perfect. Harborside was truly a great way to experience the Atlantis resort for our first time. The two bedroom lockout was a great spacious accommodation. The room was nicely appointed and clean. The kitchen came in handy as we were able to prepare meals and save on the dining expense. The pool at Harborside was secluded and a real nice quiet retreat from the Atlantis. Renting this condo was extremely easy to arrange. Sho was easy to work with. She responded within 30 minutes of my inquiry, answered all my questions and walked me through the rental process which was straightforward. Sho was fabulous in arranging the accommodations. She also arranged for a driver to pick us up a the airport and drive us to the Harborside. Sho was extremely responsive via email and cell phone calls any time we reached out to her. She provided answers to all our questions and followed up continuously. Sho even reached out to us when we returned home to see how our trip went. Sho was extremely professional and I will definitely book with her again. Book with her you be happy you did!! Thanks Sho for helping us book this trip. Looking forward to booking our next trip with you.

Just the planning with Sho has been fantastic!

My family is scheduled to travel the first week in march. Planning a trip is so stressful and the response from Sho from the very minute I inquired has been the best customer service I have seen in a very very long time. I have directed several people to Sho as they look at vacations. I hope that Sho has other locations as I would without a doubt book with Sho's properties. I write this review for those who may be "thinking about which person to work with". I will be writing a review after our trip as I am certain it will be fantastic. We used to own at the Harborside so we are familiar with the area and with Atlantis. We are so excited to go back .

Exceeds all expectations!

Booked Harborside resort 1 Bedroom premium through Sho. She is a real nice person to deal with, I flip flopped my reservation dates couple of times due to medical emergency and Sho accommodated everything I requested. Excellent response time and service. Front desk at Harbirside gave good rooms and treated us real nice as soon as I mentioned Sho's name for reservation. Planning to do another trip very soon and recommended her to my best friends.

Great time in Atlantis......Communication lacking

Our family of 6 had a great vacation and the accommodations were very spacious and relaxing. Harborside was its own little resort away from Atlantis with its own pool, hot tub, gym, and even a outdoor concrete ping pong table. And even though there was a closing time for these areas, it was not enforced so we enjoyed the pool late into the night. The only drawback to the booking process was a lack of communication with the owner. I read all the reviews that speak of quick responses and staying in contact, but that was not my experience. Several emails went unanswered for days or even a week, and my last message sent on January 12 still has not been responded to. Everything worked out great and our vacation was fantastic, however when you have sent a boatload of cash to a person you have never met for a reservation....you get a little nervous when that person is slow to respond or seems a little shady.

Herbert I am happy to hear you an fantastic trip and the room was spacious and worked out well. I am sorry to hear that you feel the communication wasn't what you expected. I strive to make sure my renters are happy. The Jan 12 email I never received. I was traveling out of the country with no internet. If you felt you needed to reach me you could have picked up the phone and called. My phone number is listed on my Vrbo page and I am always available to my renters as stated by other renters in previous Vrbo reviews. The key to a good trip is an honest owner who gives you what you were promised. You received exactly what you rented you had a smooth check in process and had a great trip at a great resort with the accommodations you were promised. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control such as in this case where I never received the email. I was accessible by phone and I don't have any voicemails from you or call from you. Picking up the phone to call me would have been a good option. Sometimes old fashioned forms of communications work. Bottom line is you had my phone number and you could have called me and it would have been my pleasure to assist you on the phone just like I do for all my renters. In the future when you book a vacation rental from an owner I hope you get exactly the accommodations that you were promised with a smooth check in and great vacation experience like you got when you booked with me and do yourself a favor keep the owners phone number handy you may need it.

The best vacation of our lives!!

Everything about our stay at Atlantis Harborside Resort was absolutely wonderful. We had 14 (7 adults, 7 kids) in our party and stayed in 2 two bedroom units. We were amazed at how spacious and comfortable the units were. Sho was helpful in answering all our questions prior to our arrival. We had to wait a little longer than 4pm for check-in because they were still cleaning the unit but besides that delay Harborside staff were friendly and responsive. I highly recommend Harborside. It was wonderful to have our own kitchen and a pool a few steps away. The shuttles were perfect in helping us access the whole resort. We have vacationed in many parts of the world and this was literally the best vacation of our lives. There was something exciting for everyone to enjoy.

Great Option for a Family

We've been to Atlantis several times and stayed in both Cove and the Reef previously but needed 1 bedroom accommodation e suitable with a young child and a crib. Harborside was perfect and we will definitely go back. We were in the 1 bedroom unit which are very spacious for 3 of us, and very reasonably priced compared with the other family options on the resort. Harborside has it's own pool and gym so is very self contained if you opt to spend your time there. We walked to the resort every day but there is a shuttle option if you prefer. It's exactly what we were looking for so we will back back for sure. Sho was very helpful, reliable and quick to respond so will use her services again for our next trip.

Enjoyable Stay at Harborside

We just ended our 1 week stay in a deluxe 1 bm. We made this pretty much a last minute (within the last month) trip, and that was the last one available. It was very adequate for our needs (2 parents / 2 kids). I will probably get the larger 1 bm next time. The good news is I said next time.....we all had a blast! We were a little unsure because of Atlantis's mixed reviews, but here are our observations/recommendations. 1) Sho was wonderful to work with in booking the unit. Very timely responses, and she cared that everything was setup to get you started off right. Thank you Sho! 2) Bring food. Since we could get a free piece of checked luggage per ticket, we packed 150 lbs of food/drink. Water, alcohol, bread, snacks, etc. Basically you can bring in anything that's not fresh fruit/veg, dairy, or meats. We're SO glad we brought stuff. Eating out at Atlantis is SO expense! We only ate out one night at Johny Rockets. $120 for a family of four. Bring some food if you're staying at Harborside...you'll be glad you did. Also bring a couple of collapsible cooler "bags" to pack up and take to the water park / beach. 3) Taxi service. Use Sandra Ferguson's taxi service. She was AWESOME. She was waiting for us outside customs with our name on a board. Even though our flight was over an hour late. As part of her service, we stopped at a local liquor store, and the supermarket for my wife to go in and get things that we couldn't bring with us. There no pushing of time limits or anything. Once we had what we needed, we moved on. She charge a flat rate that was about $15 above the going taxi rate...but with the stops and the ease....it was well worth it! She also promptly picked us up back at Harborside for our return. 4) Waterpark trick. The Waterpark gets nuts. Especially if you don't get there early...with all the cruise people. While we did spend a few days back at the Harborside pool (it was great...and laid back)....here's what we found when going over to the big Waterpark. Work it in reverse. Since we never got over real early, we took the shuttle over to the Royal, and went into the park kinda in reverse. We were able to find chairs over by the rock climbing wall entrance to the lazy river. 5) Do the Dolphin Deep Swim. Very $$$, but well worth it. Even our 7 yo loved it 6) Snorkel the Ruins. Pretty cool..but Dolphins first 7) Be prepared to walk. Especially from Harborside. The Superyachts are unREAL! We'll definitely be going back!

Great family memories @ Paradise Island!

Our family just returned from a fabulous week in the Bahamas at Paradise Island. We stayed at the Harborside condos which was lovely. There were 2 families, 9 of us total and each family had a single bedroom unit, which worked well. I would recommend to anyone pay the extra money and stay in the larger premium villa, it offers much more space and a wonderful outside patio. That said the both units were great, nicely furnished, well equipped and wonderful to be able to cook easy meals and relax. We loved staying at Harborside as the other towers near the waterparks were very busy so it was always nice to come back to our beautiful quiet, private pool to relax. Additionally, it was lovely to get up early in the morning and stroll to Starbucks by all of the lovely yachts and people watch. Harborside is an easy, enjoyable 10 minute walk to the other towers, shuttles are available as well. Paradise Island is a fabulous place to go, beautiful white sand beaches, Caribbean crystal blue waters, lots of fun things to do. I believe it is slightly suited better for families with younger kids, loads of stuff to do. Our kids are all >18 and they had a great time too, gambling, drinking, site seeing, waterpark, parasailing, just relaxing at the beach/pool. We loved hanging out in the Lazy River, drinking the mondo 24 oz tropical drinks. We were lucky enough to witness tropical storms with crazy lighting and thunder, that was awesome. The locals recommended a couple places to eat that were fabulous on Nassau: Lukka Kari and Frankie's and you must get the local drink Sky Juice, yummy. The Conch Chowder is better than any Clam Chowder I have ever tasted! Both these places I would highly recommend. We also took a day trip to Sandy Toes which was really enjoyable, relaxing, beautiful, snorkeling was good, something I would recommend. Great time, very beautiful and relaxing. Last, but not least, Sho did a fabulous job coordinating the trip for us and I would highly recommend her. She was very easy to work with, informative and everything went off without a hitch. Thanks Sho, fabulous time!

We had a great vacation!

We stayed for a week at the Harborside and the unit we had was really good. It was one bedroom but the sleeping sofa in the living was good for the kids. The kitchen has pretty much all what you need. The unit had a small patio and the view was toward the Atlantis resort overlooking the canal toward the Marina. Wi-Fi is not free. You can buy at some $23/day. I think the lobby has internet access so you can go there if you don't want to pay for in room (assuming you need internet access). The unit itself is a little bit outdated but clean. It is close to a shopping area (like a 10 min walk) where you can get water and other things but we ordered food and water in advance through FoodStores2Go. Is very convenient and you can schedule the delivery to your arrival time. The grounds are very well maintained. Quite beautiful. They have shuttles going all the time (through 2:00am) to Atlantis towers and back and you have access to all amenities there. The Atlantis water park is quite something to see, from their signature Leap Of Fortune to the (not so) lazy river and the huge aquarium. Many shops and restaurants. all towers are beautiful (the Cove seems to be the newest). It is an amazing place. Almost all food/drink places don't take cash, so you have to charge on a credit card or your room key. That was a bit weird. The Atlantis beaches are really good (although not as good as in Turks & Caicos). There are beach chairs provided but limited and the the place can get crowded when the cruise ships arrive and their guests are visiting the Atlantis water park and the beaches. Sho was great and gave up couple tips about the area. Also she put in contact with someone to pick us up from the airport.

Fun family vacation

Just returned from a week at Atlantis Harborside. Roomy accommodations with washer/dryer and full kitchen ideal for family with young children. Convenient daily shuttle to grocery store with a smaller convenience store located across the street. Kids loved Aquaventure and the beach. Would recommend spending a day at Blue Lagoon, dinner at Montagu Gardens, and airport transfers with Cheryl Ferguson. Have arranged multiple vacation rentals through VRBO and Airbnb in the past, and Sho was one of the most responsive agents I have dealt with. She responded quickly via e-mail or phone and followed up on our visit after our return. We had a one bedroom premium unit with marina views and everything (accommodations, no surprise charges, etc) was as Sho described. Can't wait to return to Atlantis Harborside and use Sho again.

SHO is the real deal, you can trust here 100%

First time I to use VRBO and I was nervous about getting what we are paying for. SHO is a great, our vacation went perfectly. We rented the 2 bedroom unit that was 1,300 square feet it was amazing. Room 2706 and 2707 were joined together, we have so much room for the family to spread out and to relax. Our view was ideal as we had $10 to $50 million dollar yachts outside our balcony. Go with SHO you can trust her.

We had a wonderful time staying at Atlantis Harborside with Great accommodations. The Kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, the bathroom was actually like having two. The washer and dryer helped keep our packing to a minimum and allowed us to return home without any laundry to do. Perfect, relaxing vacation with so many things to do. We are ready to return ASAP!!

Aruba Marriott surf club

We just returned from a week long stay at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club in a 2 bdrm unit. Our experience was fantastic from the moment we stepped on property. The staff was expecting us and directed us to the checkin location for the tower we were assigned to. The unit was better than we expected and very spacious for 6 adults. Great pools and beach and fantastic staff. This property is immaculate and well stocked. Marriott had really thought of everything you might need and provides it. Great happy hour! Shoshanna was excellent to work with. I was apprehensive to book and prepay online but please be assured that shoshanna is a top notch professional and will take excellent care of you. I can't say enough about how great our trip was and I look forward to returning and to working with shoshanna again!!

My children can never get enough of the Harborside, they are busy from morning till night with all the different things the Harborside has to offer.
