Perfect South Beach House

What a great vacation house! Beach access literally across the street. House layout was roomy and conducive to family fun and activities. Very clean and well furnished. Tv streaming and wifi access was flawless. Owner communication was above and beyond. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit. Absolutely

Fantastic location on a great Florida beach

My wife and I had a great time staying at the Aqua cottage. It is ideally located across the street from public access to the beach. We feel Vero Beach is one of the best beaches for walking in Florida which is why we chose this. Chris was fantastic - friendly, easy to communicate with, and flexible when Hurricane Milton interrupted our travels. We found the cottage to be reasonably priced and has all the needed touches (e.g. kitchen with key appliances, beach gear, etc.) to choose this over a local hotel. The cottage is a bit tired and could use some updating, however we loved the value and location. We would happily stay here again.

Great family getaway

We had such a great time at the house, it was a rainy weekend at the beach so we ended up spending a lot more time than we planned in the house but it was great. They had board games for the kids, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and the beach equipment really came in handy, especially the cart. especially the cart!

FANTASTIC say!

My friend and I were on a girl’s trip and stayed for two days. The property was so clean and comfortable and steps from the beach. They had everything we needed for relaxing beach days and comfy sleeps. If we’re ever in Vero Beach again we’ll definitely be back!

Perfectly clean, lots of space, by the ocean. Everything you need for a stay is included. Beach toys and games for family use. Best location for a quiet family getaway.

Great beach house

Great property. The house had all the things you might need while on a trip. Beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, the works. The beach wagon with the huge wheels was so awesome! Beds were comfortable, ac worked great, tvs were good. And the beach across the street was just what we wanted. If you are looking for a great beach house right across from the beach, this is a great spot.

Quite Family Getaway

This stay was an excellent retreat from the usual touristy and crowded areas. The beach was just a short walk away—less than 3 minutes to reach the water. The place had more than enough appliances, including an abundance of plastic, ceramic, and glass plates, cups, and utensils. All the beach accessories you might need were provided: umbrellas, chairs, toys, boogie boards, and towels. Our vacation consisted of 4 adults, 3 children, and 1 dog, and we found the accommodations perfect for our group. The owner was quick to respond to messages and was very professional when checking in to see how things were going. The neighborhood was quiet. Publix is a 6-minute drive away, and there is a 7-Eleven just a couple of blocks away. There are also a few local restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be coming back.

Great Beach location

If you like the beach this property is in a great location short walk to the beach which clean and quite even for 4th of July weekend was not crowded. You don't need to bring anything very well equipped with everything for the beach . Also the kitchen has everything you need. The house is old Florida style and also the furniture and decor , so if you expect modern this is not for you. Property manager Chris responded to our questions right away. Overall we had a good time

Great home, needs updating

The house is well appointed and is in a great location. Love all the beach and recreation items provided-- chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, bicycles, etc. Home is lovely, but interior could use a coat of paint and the couch covers need replacing, they're a little dirty. White probably isn't the best choice, LOL. The kitchen is basic but fine, though the outside of the refrigerator is pretty dirty, and some parts seemed to be missing on the inside (covers for storage areas)-- a new fridge would be nice. The property manager is AMAZING! Quick response to everything we needed, from replacing a dribbling shower head ASAP to getting the cable TV up and running. I can't say enough about how communicative and gracious they are. We would 100% stay here again!

Fun in the Sun!

This is a wonderful beach cottage. Even though is older, it was immaculate! One of the cleanest and well appointed VRBO rentals we have stayed in. Easy walk across the street to the State Beach which is beautiful. Close to everything Vero Beach has to offer, plus our pup was welcomed! Highly Recommend!

Nice Home

The home is lovely. It holds anything you may need. Beach towels, toys, chairs ect. The kitchen is fully stocked as well as the bathrooms. I brought my elderly mom and her friend. The home is directly across from the parking for the beach but it was to far for them to walk. And a long walk to the water. That was only draw back.

Fantastic Location

South Beach was the yearly vacation destination for my family when I was growing up. It was very good for our souls to be able to revisit it as adults. House is perfectly situated for easy beach access. It has all the things you need for a comfortable stay.

Great little old Florida cottage feel!

House had a great old Florida cottage feel. It wasn’t super fancy, but clean and quaint with everything we needed. Super close to the beach which made for a beautiful morning stroll. Didn’t love some of the unique mystical decor but the mattress in the main and one of the guest rooms had just been updated to large king beds which were comfortable. The master bedroom is like a retreat set apart from the other rooms. We were there in December but I imagine a summer stay would be especially amazing because they have everything needed for outdoor beach fun in the garage.

Delightful stay!

This property was perfect for our group! We were three adult couples visiting the area for a wedding and this was perfectly located and perfectly stocked! We made great use of the beach and were so happy the rental had chairs and umbrellas. Everything was very clean and cute and the owner was extremely responsive to the questions we had. Thank you, would love to rent this spot again!

Love being across the street from the beach. Went for sunrise and sunset most days.

Fun at the Beach

The property was a moments walk to the beach. It was smaller than expected, tiny kitchen and living room but clean and cozy. We were a family of 6 and made it work. The owner showed up as soon as I mentioned the dishwasher wasn’t working well. He truly cared that we were satisfied. The house is sturdy, old Florida with cool terrazzo floors.

Aqua Cottage is owned and managed by the Dudek Family, who are based right here on the island in beautiful Vero Beach. Chris and Jessica are exceptional hosts who love the beach life and are available 24/7 to take care of your every need. You may even bump into their wonderful kids Christian, Nick or Cali, who often help out when they are in town. Mitch, a Chinese folk arts museum owner who has lived and worked in China for over 40 years, contributed some cute Chinese antiques artwork which help to make the Aqua Cottage oriental beach style so charming. Don't worry, the house is entirely kid and dog friendly!
