My parents and I stayed for a week, on a trip to Waterton to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday and parents' 50th anniversary. The cabin is a rustic duplex, with the owners next door. There were a couple of oddities and/or disappointments: There was no door or curtain for the main bathroom, there was a tear in the screen of one of the few open-able windows, there were a lot of bees/wasps dead on the carpets or flying around when we arrived, we couldn't rest or otherwise hang around during the day due to the owners initiating a deck replacement project during our stay (with no discount offered), the propane stove was leaky, and the welcome note indicated that guests are expected to do the cleaning prior to departure (in preparation for the next occupants) which perhaps explained why a deep-cleaning seemed needed (when we arrived there was trash from the previous occupants, grease spray all over the microwave, a sticky film on the dining table, etc). Otherwise, our stay met our needs, the views were amazing, it was wonderfully quiet, and the cabin is well-located for sightseeing the Waterton environs which we thoroughly enjoyed.
