Villa Rovezzano is only a few minutes from central Florence and yet set in a peaceful and elegant park, approached by a long winding tree lined drive way. It is the perfect way to have total access to the city whilst still being able to escape in an oasis of green tranquillity.
The house is located in the Rovezzano area, a 10-minute drive from the historical center of Florence and surrounded by century-old Villa Favard Park. The house occupies the 1st floor of a rustic building nestled in a large park with swimming pool. It has 3 double rooms with twin beds and 3 double bedrooms. Each room has a private bathroom with shower , AC , TV . The decor incorporates works of art, beamed ceiling and antique furniture. It is equipped with free Wi-Fi. Some rooms overlook the garden others overlook the courtyard. You can relax on the furnished terrace or in the living room with fireplace and table biliardo.E 'available a pool (12m. X 7m.) With umbrella and chairs. Within the private park we have available to guests free parking. The property is next to a bus stop into the city center or Santa Maria Novella station Bus No. 14.
In proximity of the hotel you can find supermarket, bar, kiosk, baker and some excellent Pizzerias.
The house offers tranquility while being just minutes from the historic center of Florence.

Great property just outside of Firenze that housed 8 people for 7 nights. Everything on VRBO was accurate. Great rooms/modern bathrooms, clean pool, quiet, lovely terrace, ez bus ride into city (bus stop 5minutes), etc. Checkin and out was seemless and Francesca and her team were amazingly responsive for all of our needs. Fantastic stay! Great restaurant 5 minutes away at uoscale campground for quick meal.

Family vacation in Florence

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Francesca’s villa. The home itself was very spacious and well equipped, and we absolutely loved the grounds and the swimming pool- what a treat during the hot Florentine summer! Francesca was also extremely responsive and helpful, as were Nina and her husband who help manage the property. We hope to be able to visit again soon!

Beautiful property great for large groups

Beautiful property for my friends and family to enjoy. The bus is close by although the times were never on schedule (not the property issue), Uber and taxis were a little hard to come by but we did find that bike rentals were the most convenient way to get around. Rooms were beautiful and beds were nice. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the views were gorgeous. Only thing to note that was confusing in the description is the charge for electricity due per kilowatt at the checkout. But other than that it was lovely and well worth the money!

Lovely stay!

We were twelve friends staying here for a week and it was amazing! Lovely old house, but maybe some more comfortable seatings for all of the twelve guests would be good. Francesca was very nice, replied very quick and helpful! It is a little bit of a walk to the pool (just a minute away), but it was well worth it in the 30 degrees heat! 😁

Wunderbares Quartier für Gruppen bis 12 Personen

Eine ideale Unterkunft für 12 Personen mit eigener Küche und einem Pool für die heiße Zeit zum abkühlen. Die Lage zur Stadt ist perfekt und die Vermieterin geht sehr diskret mit den Gästen um. Tute bene. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, wieder zu kommen , ist sehr groß.

Excellent, in every way

The property was very nice. Everyone was very excited about how pretty it was. The beds were really nice. Everything was clean. The pool area was a very pleasant surprise. Francesca helped us several times prior to getting there. We would definitely stay here again The only negative had nothing to do with the property. We had trouble with taxis canceling on us. however when Francesca got involved, she got us taxis very quickly. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Super endroit. Un havre de paix très proche du centre de Florence.

Lovely house, great location

We were a group of 12, 3 families and the property was the perfect size for us. All the rooms were a similar size and standard so there we no arguments about rooms! The owner, Francesca was really helpful and responded to emails immediately both before and during our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Florence, the bus stop is a 5 minute walk away and the journey about 15/20 minutes. Taxis into Florence were about 15/20 euros one way. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance of the house. The pool is set away from the house which could be tricky with younger children but wasn’t a big problem for us. Mosquitos were a massive problem, which is obviously not the fault of the owner, they did their best to provide repellents etc but everyone got badly bitten every day. This was probably the only negative to our holiday. The house is well equipped and the terrace off the kitchen is a nice place to sit in the evening. Overall, I would highly recommend this house for people wanting to relax and also explore Florence.

A wonderful place to stay

We were an extended family of 7 adults and 2 young children. This house worked perfectly for us. The family with the young children had one section of bedrooms, then there’s a double door so when we sat in the lounge area at night, we weren’t disturbing them. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and had their own bathroom. A large well equipped kitchen with a large balcony off it was great. Air conditioning in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room aren’t air conditioned but they will be next year apparently. That will be a welcome addition as they got quite hot and if you left the windows open the mosquitoes became a problem. Not all windows have screens. We appreciated the mosquito repellent and coils. We loved the extensive grounds and the pool. It is a truly beautiful place. There’s a kids playground in a public park next door. Loved pizza man which is a few minutes walk away. Caught the bus into Firenze very easily. Was a great location for day trips around Tuscany. We thoroughly recommend this villa.

Fantastic !!!

Dear Francesca, Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. The pool is fantastic and ideal with kids as it is gated off. The rooms are lovely and all have A/C and their own bathroom! We spent most evenings on the terrace which was lovely. The best thing about the house is the location though. A bus stop is only a short walk from the house which takes you into the centre of Florence in no time! Ideally located for day trips such as Pisa or Siena as well. All in all it really made our holiday and I can’t recommend it enough. Francesca is a fantastic host and the communication before and during our stay was outstanding! She really goes the extra mile for her guest. Thank you so much again! We had a fantastic time.

A haven from which to enjoy Florence

Francesca was a very attentive hostess and provided advice about local travel as well. The property was perfect for a group of couples as we each had a room with an ensuite. The kitchen/ great room were our gathering headquarters to cook meals and play pool. The grounds were expansive and the pool was an added bonus when the sun came out, it was difficult to leave the relaxing cabana area. The location provided a haven to recharge in, with the old city of Florence a 25 minute bus ride to all major sights. Bus stops were easily accessible from the property. We hope to return soon, thank you Francesca for taking such good care of us. 5 stars for this property. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place for larger group to explore Florence and Tuscany

We (6 adults & 5 kids) had a very pleasant stay and recommed the property to others. It is a spacious and well maintained property (all the rooms have A/C and bathroom). As you can tell from pics its inventory is not really modern, but relaxing / cozy and fully functional. Rooms are in first floor and there is a large terracce (be aware that you need to keep party/volume low at nights as neighbours are close by). BBQ in the garden. Large, clean and very nice pool with shower, toilet and refrigerator (but you need to walk a few meters as it is not directly attached to the house) There is a bus to Florence center (app 15 minutes) and a few good pizzerias close by.

great villa

my family had a wonderful 3 week stay. we had a revolving family group and villa accommodated all. it has a lovely park setting surrounding villa which is very relaxing. the owners francessca and carlos were very friendly and helpful. we made great use of pool as temperatures unusually high,pool area much nicer than pictures depict. villa close enough to city with restaurants supermarkets within walking distance. each bedroom had a/c and baths which was a plus. would reccomend for vacation in florence area.
