Beautiful house close to beach and stores

Everything was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Kids loved the giant bathtub and the grassy yard to run around in. Adults enjoyed drinking wine on the terrace overlooking the water.

Wonderful

We had an amazing 10 day stay at the house. We were a party of 6-7 adults and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house is a short walk to the beach, nearby markets and restaurants and a short drive to nearby tourist attractions like Nazare, Obidos, and other sites. There are also some scenic hiking trails close by. We found the kitchen was very well equipped and the house very well set up for latge groups of people, including children. If you are looking for a comfortable stay in Portugal, this is your spot!

House was seaside with plenty of charm up on a hillside. Backyard garden and patio was a great place to hang for all of us hang out. Bright colors beautiful view of water and overall a relaxing stay. Quiet neighborhood and easy walk to beach. Had our elderly father with us and luckily there was a public elevator not too far away he could use to get down to the ocean. Food was good. We loved “Portobellos” a little Italian place with great service and food was fabulous. Would definitely stay again! Thank you to Rita our host and Fatima the friendly house keeper was very helpful.

Sehr geräumig mit wunderbarem , ruhigem und sonnigemGarten. Auch mit Schattenplätze genügend Perfekt gelegen, 5 min zum Markt, 5 min zur Beach. Sehr gut ausgerüstetes Haus. Nicht sehr vorteilhaft für ältere und gehbehinderte Personen, da ganz viele Stufen überall. Vorsicht beim Gehen ist geboten!

Estancia espectacular

Preciosa casa en un enclave tranquilo. Perfecto para estar con familia y amigos. Se trata de un hogar de playa, con un diseño super original, decorado con gusto y con un jardín precioso. Pudimos comer en el porche todos los días y los niños disfrutaron muchísimo del jardín. Muy recomendable

An amazing stay

The house is beautiful, the pictures do not do any justice, sleep with the windows open and you can hear the waves crashing (just enough) and you can smell the sea air. we were a group of 10 people and all of us enjoyed it great for kids and if you are looking for a helping hand around the kitchen ask for Mrs Fatima to cook you some traditional food from around the country, well worth the money. If i ever go back with a large group of people I will definitely schedule something around the availability. Abrantes family.

Super cozy flat with everything you need and more

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The photos show the rooms and the flat exactly as it is. It is really cozy and nicely decorated. The garden with its barbecue place is perfect for summer evenings. The flat itself is perfectly equipped with everything you need and more (coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, all kinds of plates and stuff). Also the contact with Rita before arriving and with Cecilia during our stay was perfect. Thank you very much for letting us stay in the apartment! Best, Jessica & friends

Exceptional beach house in authentic coastal village

We were lucky to have experienced this Charming beach house and private residence (the family’s summer home). Architecturally a gem, with large lawn in the part of the old town. You can walk to the beach down old cobble stone street five minutes away. Or head in the other direction into windy streets that have been there forever. The house was spotless and clearly well loved by the owners. Those who live or work In The area were extremely friendly and helpful. Great experience. Thank you Cecilia and RIta

Excellent séjour!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans la maison de Rita. Nous étions deux familles avec 5 enfants entre 3 et 11 ans. Petits et grands ont apprécié leur séjour, la maison est très jolie et très propre et le jardin est très agréable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fait d'être en plein cœur du village avec tous les commerces à proximité dont le marché de fruits et légumes et de poissons ainsi que le fait de pouvoir aller à la plage à pied. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et nous remercions Rita et Cecilia pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.

Relaxing

We were a family of 13 & just returned from our stay. The house was beautiful, clean, & had all the amenities we could have wanted. The wifi worked great! We stayed right on the Sao Martinho boardwalk the week prior to coming to this house, and this was a welcome change! It was quiet, & so close to the supermarket, cafe & butcher shop. There is an elevator in walking distance if you don't want to tackle the hill leading to/from the boardwalk. We felt like locals staying here, even taking advantage of the outdoor charcoal grill to grill some chorizo! Fatima, the lady who welcomed us to the home, could not have been nicer & sweeter. 2 things I feel I need to add is: to update the profile to say 2 bathrooms (instead of one) & put standing oscillating fans in the bedrooms. There were a few nights/early mornings where it became wet/misty & it made us & the house feel damp & sticky. Although there is air conditioning in the dining room area, having oscillating fans in the bedrooms would mean not having to open the windows and letting the damp in. We look forward to staying at this property again!

Très belle maison!

Très belle propriété, état conforme à la description donnée sur Homelidays, idéale pour 2 grandes familles (ou 3 familles plus petites...), les adolescents étaient contents car le Wifi fonctionne (que feraient ils sans leurs iBidules...), les petits ont de l'espace pour jouer et la maison est suffisamment grande pour que les adultes aient la paix...Cecilia (sur place) et Rita (en France) sont très réactives en cas de soucis/questions. A recommander!

Jolie maison bien située dans village pitoresque

très belle maison on s'y sent chez nous.terrasse pour manger à l'extérieur avec son barbecue très agréable.lave vaisselle,il ne manque rien à la cuisine.le lave linge et le sèche linge très pratique,il manquerait peut être un étendage extérieur .les lits ne sont pas très confortables mais cela ne nous a pas gâché notre séjour.ce village est très joli,de très belles balades à faire à pieds.il y a même un ascenseur qui vous amène de la maison à la plage,l'office de tourisme très accueillante.les commerces sont très proches (intermarché,boucherie et le marché tous les matins pour les légumes et le poisson à quelques pas).les visites aux alentours:fatima ,lisbonne et tous les petits villages à ne pas manquer.le portugal reste un pays très accueillant avec des habitants très sympathiques qui vous attendent les bras ouverts.sao martinho do porto est une très belle destination.

"La maison est agréable. C''est calme, située partie haute du village, on voit la mer. Spacieuse et bien équipée. Tout petit bémol, sur les 3 chambres doubles, une est peu intime, la 2ème est un peu humide. Marché local à deux pas tous les jours, très appréciable. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et sympathiques. Nous sommes prêts à y retourner !"
