Séjour très agréable. Michaël et son neveu Ivan sont des hôtes super. La communication est très efficace et proactive. Le logement est très bien situé. Le logement est très vieillot alors si vous cherchez pour un 5 étoiles, ce n'est pas pour vous. Pour nous c'était parfait et on était 4 personnes.

Notre évaluation de notre hébergement chez Michaël Cousteau, Paris.Nous sommes enchantés de notre semaine passée à Paris en demeurant dans le 8ième arrondissement de Paris. Le logement était spacieux, très bien situé, à proximité des métros et autobus, à quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs commodités pour faire nos courses dans des commerces locaux tous plus intéressants les uns que les autres. Nous avons adoré le quartier. L'appartement recèle de ressources insoupçonnables pour lesquelles nous aurions pu y demeurer une semaine de plus afin d'en tirer vraiment parti. Un plus, la petite terrasse fleurie en abondance. Qu'il faisait bon de s'y détendre le matin ou le soir! La cuisine comporte une diversité de matériel pour répondre à nos goûts en matière de plats à cuisiner. Malgré la chaleur suffocante durant notre séjour, nous avons pu profiter d'une certaine fraîcheur apportée par la cour intérieure. Plusieurs fois au cours de notre séjour nous avons pu entrer en contact avec le propriétaire qui répondait prestement à nos demandes de renseignements et nous faisait des suggestions toujours pertinentes. Merci M. Cousteau pour votre accueil personnalisé qui a ajouté à notre plaisir de mieux connaître les Français. Louise Giasson.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael's property. He was out of town so his nephew, Ivan, met us to check in and showed us around. He also greeted us upon departure. Overall, a great experience -- the property was perfect for our needs and our stay in Paris. We had two teenage boys and 2 adults and we were also super comfortable. Beautiful property, thank you for sharing with us and being wonderful hosts!

Great stay in the opera district of Paris

We have a wonderful stay with Michael in his flat in the Opera district. Great location, close walk to great sites, Metro, shops, dining, and restaurants. The outdoor patio was wonderful!

Wonderful stay in Paris in a beautiful apartment

We loved Michaël‘s wonderful apartment in the centre of Paris. Michaël was an excellent host and sent us lots of information for check in and check out as well as local bakeries and places of interest. His nephew Ivan greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the beautiful apartment which was full of character. The balcony was just lovely and perfect for a relaxing glass of wine after a busy day sightseeing. The apartment was in a great location as most attractions were within walking distance. Thank you Michaël And Ivan for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again and it was really lovely to meet you both.

Appartement met Parijse charme

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf.Zowel Michael als Ivan zijn de meest geweldige hosts die we al ooit hadden.Altijd bereikbaar, voor en tijdens de reis, met veel tips en hulp allerhande.Het appartement was qua ruimte voor ons gezin voldoende.Het appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, het is volledig uitgerust van huisraad tot handdoeken.Voor de ene zal het appartement een beetje rommelig lijken maar voor ons had dat net zijn charme en de piano was voor onze dochter een mooi extraatje.Maar de grootste troef is natuurlijk de ligging, pal in het hart van Parijs en met de metro net om de hoek, stond je overal waar je maar wilde zijn binnen het halfuur.Het is duidelijk dat de Parijse gebouwen allemaal last hebben van wat vochtproblemen, dat was hier niet anders maar voor ons nu niet storend, als ik dan 1 opmerking moet geven, het douchegordijn kan misschien wel vervangen worden.Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Louvre

This place was in a very nice neighborhood and within 20 minutes of the Louvre by foot. The Opera was about 3 blocks away. We enjoyed the patio, restaurants and bakeries. Ivan and Michael were great hosts.

Heart of Paris

Absolutely perfect location in Paris, with a gorgeous view from the terrace as well. We throughly enjoyed our stay, and Michael was a very communicative host who made sure we had everything we could possibily need for our stay. Would stay again!

Wonderful Paris getaway

This just a wonderful place to stay in Paris. The location is just great. You aren't far from metro and public transportation so it is easy to get around. I was shocked how quite it was being close to downtown and not far from some busy areas. The apartment itself is spacious for Paris, especially the bathroom. It is well furnished for your needs. We cooked a few meals and we had everything we needed. Michael and his Nephew Ivan are wonderful. They very vert accommodating and had very good communication with us through out our trip. We were there for seven days and they checked in to make sure we were doing okay and gave us great recommendations of places to see and places to eat. Just great people to work with and a pleasure to meet.

Lovely stay

The host, Michael, was fantastic. He kept in excellent communication prior to the trip and during the stay as well. He was traveling yet took time to respond to our questions and even called us once during our stay to make sure all was well. His adult nephew checked us in and he was great! He even walked me to a nearby market to get a special item we needed. The apartment was comfortable and in a good location close to parking and Metro. We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay in the 9th Arr.

We had a wonderful time staying in Michael's apartment in a charming neighborhood in the 9th arrondisement. Shops are close by, and it is perfectly situated for easy excursions around Paris via metro or walking. The elevator made the 5th floor manageable, and the balcony has a delightful view of the Paris street below plus Sacre Couer in the distance. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is nicely updated and large for a Parisian apartment and the bedrooms were large enough to easily accommodate my husband and I, plus our teenage son. It is a wonderful way to spend a stay in Paris feeling more like a true Parisian rather than a tourist. Communication with the host is fast and he even provides some recommendations of favorite restaurants, parks, shops, and local attractions. We thank you Michael for a truly memorable visit to Paris!
