Seagrove Walton Dunes

Perfect location for a beach getaway! The condo was great and easy access to all restaurants/stores along 30-A. This is our second stay at this unit and we will be back next year.

Beach view was great. I had stayed in this unit before, and unfortunately it was not nearly as nice this time. It looked like the owners had put the bare minimum in to rent it. I usually stay with another owner in the Walton Dunesm and thus unit now pales in comparison, although it used to be superior. I understand it is for sale and perhaps that is why.

Thank you for taking the time to review this wonderful gulf front condo. We are very sorry to hear you are unhappy. We get rave reviews ALL the time. The guests love all the NEW updates to the unit including a BRAND NEW KITCHEN. You booked the wrong dates to start with and we graciously accommodated you by moving your stay to new dates. We certainly were not required to help you fix your mistake, but we did. We go out of our way to help our guests and make sure they have a positive experience, but unfortunately some people are chronically unhappy no matter where they are, including a gorgeous gulf front condo on 30A. We hope you have a wonderful day and find some joy! Also, FYI...this unit is not for SALE and has not been for sale for over a year. Please be sure your facts are correct.

Great getaway

We absolutely love staying here. So close to the beach, clean quarters and a great place to spend valuable time with the family. This condo is such a jewel. This is our second time staying in this unit and we will be back.

You have everything you need in the kitchen to cook a great meal. My two teenage daughters had plenty of space in the second bedroom to spend a week comfortably. The master bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the master shower. From either balcony, the view is breathtaking. Just a few steps away from the front door is the gated walkway to the private, quiet, relaxing beach. While you're there, be sure to try the Donut Hole, Shade's, Grace's Pizza and Pickle's.

Bathrooms have been updated. Needs a paint job and deep cleaning. Air vents dirty . Nice to have broom to sweep in wanted. I have stayed at other units. Beds were comfortable.

Lovely spring break stay

Had a lovely stay with our family of 6. Knowing the weather could be unpredictable, I wanted an ocean view so I could watch the sunset from inside if I couldn’t be on the beach. This was perfect! We loved the inclusion of a credit for beach gear rental. We rented bikes and had a great time since the water was closed for half our stay due to strong currents. Great location for our needs. The cleaning crew could be a little better—sandy kitchen counter and pantry floor, but nothing we couldn’t take care of ourselves quickly upon arrival. It’s a typical rental quality unit, but the beds were all very comfortable. We would definitely rent again.

The condo is nicely decorated with new linens and mostly new furniture. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathrooms have been updated. The condo was reasonably clean upon arrival. We especially liked the beach gear credit. We choose a paddle board for the week and had so much fun trying it out.

The wagon Funes waterfront is not nearly as crowded as the beaches closer to public access. We love being close to the lake, as our kiddos love to explore there. The double balconies offer great ocean views. There’s plenty of parking and easy beach access, The kitchen is adequate for our family’s needs. We appreciate the two full baths upstairs and the washer and dryer provided. This particular unit had built in bunks That made our stay very enjoyable.

The coforter in the master bedroom wasn't clean, under furniture needed cleaning. The condo needs a little updating and repairing overall. Ceilings show signs of water damage in living room and master bedroom. The management company was great to work with and I would definitely use them again for a different property.

Enjoyed our stay

We loved the closeness to the beach and the fact that it is a private beach (about 100 yards down is the public beach and it was very crowded). Parking was good for 2 cars. The beach gear credit was a nice bonus and actually tipped the scale to rent this town home. The property is priced right for what you get. The bathrooms have been renovated and the bedrooms were great. We didn't like the carpet in the bedrooms (it was in good shape, but would have liked wood floors better....wood floors are on the main level). The kitchen needs to be renovated. The refrigerator froze many items which caused us to throw stuff away (produce, eggs, fruit), and when we turned the temp down, it seemed to make the freezer not keep things frozen (ice cream was very soft). Plus it had rust on the outside of the white refrigerator. It was pretty well stocked, we found the toaster and blender, but it needed a drink pitcher and pot holders (had to use towels to get things out of oven). There were also many miss-matched glasses. Also need Tupperware type containers. Lastly, the AC vents on the ceiling on the kitchen/den level need work . They looked terrible and dripped water. Plus, it looked like mold was around the one in the kitchen. Overall, you get what you pay for and I thought the price was right for this town home. The view and closeness to the beach made up for the negatives as mentioned above.

The Florida humidity does cause things like the water on the vents. We appreciate your comments as this helps us address and correct all small issues like this so they are not ongoing problems. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Helene. Coming from NC our flights were cancelled and then delayed, but once we arrived all was good. The unit was comfortable and clean. The views are fantastic and private beach access is so convenient. An improvement would be a keyless entry instead of trying to keep up with a key and a hairdryer. I never travel with one and I couldn't find any in the upstairs bathrooms. Overall, our stay was a pleasant one.

You couldn’t find a better location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Walton Dunes and have stayed there almost every year. #2 is awesome because you can sit on he balcony and watch the sunsets. The furniture is nice and the place is clean. The only downside is the stairs. I’m 68 and my cousin is 72 and lugging our stuff up two flights of stairs is awful. Need better lighting in dining room, kitchen and living room. This place is about 30-40 steps to the beach - you can’t be any closer!

Fantastic location

Overall property was great. It was right on the beach with private access. Easy check in/out process. Most of the unit has been updated. Could still use some paint (Kilz) to cover what looks like mold a few places in the kitchen. The master bedroom mattress is in desperate red of replacement. Two TV remotes need replacement as well as the buttons don’t all work. Little things that would make it a 5-star unit.
