It feels like “home” when we’re there and it is always so relaxing and peaceful that we never want to leave! We make use of the kitchen and grill, as well as the pool and hot tub, and spend hours walking and biking this beautiful island! We’re so grateful to be able to spend time in this lovely home!

Christmastime at Kisses Cottage

We had a wonderful time at Kisses Cottage the past 2 weeks. I have been coming to Jekyll Island almost every year since I was born with my family, and now we have made it a tradition with my husband and children, as well. we enjoyed all of the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations around the island, especially in the Historic District. The beach is gorgeous year-round, but especially in winter when there are very few people and it is so serene. We enjoyed quiet walks on the beach, bike riding on the many trails, tours of the historic homes, and of course our favorite part of Kisses Cottage - the hot tub! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your wonderful beach home. Until next time - The Jeanneret Family

Have stayed with Jekyll Realty for many many years and always been pleased. This house was a very big disappointment to our family. The house was covered in pet hair, even after being cleaned and infested with German cockroaches. Also, the fourth bedroom was a separate apartment not connected to the main living areas of the house. The shower in the separate apartment/bedroom had no hot water and the outlets in the room did not work. we just did not get what we expected from this rental.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the fourth year that we have stayed at the Kisses Cottage and this is the most disappointed I have been. Numerous repairs were needed. The hot tub did not work, tiles were coming off around it, the heating surface on the stove was broken, drywall repair in the bathroom was still unpainted, corner trim in the kitchen area broken, and wood rot on the outer eve hanging. This nice home needs some attention.

Kisses was very nice and Jekyll Realty was very helpful and accommodating. While there is a hot tub, the pool Itself is not heated and was really too cold to use. The tank heating the hot tub gave out on our 5th night (apparently needs to be replaced) which was disappointing. There are lots of extra pillows but no extra pillowcases that I could Locate. Kitchen very serviceable.

Our stay at Kisses Cottage on Jekyll Island was absolutely perfect. We always love our time on the island and come home refreshed and renewed. The weather was beautiful with sunny skies and temps in the upper 70s most of the week; perfect for biking riding and beach walking. Meals at Zachary's, Tortuga Jacks, and Wee Pub did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next stay!
