Our vacation in Marseille

We had a wonderful time at l'Atelier des Augustines. It offers everything you need on a daily basis and is a great starting point for exploring Marseille in all directions. During that time we had very hot weather as well as heavy rain and thunderstorms. Neither caused us any problems in the apartment. During the day we were out and when we came back in the evening we had the door open for a long time. As a host, Anik is very friendly and helpful. Everything worked perfectly and we will certainly come back when we are in Marseille again.

Das Apartment hat eine Zentrale Lage in Marseille und war Ideal für unseren Kurzaufenthalt. Wir waren schon das 2. Mal dort und haben uns immer wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und kommen wieder.

En séjour pour 4 jours, nous avons été séduit par ce petit appartement décoré avec goût et très propre, le canapé lit est de qualité avec une très bonne literie. la kichenette et la salle de bains paraissent neuves. Situé sur une petite place calme et silencieuse nous a bien reposé. N'ayant pas de voiture, sa situation a été idéale à 50m du vieux port et de ses activités, restaurants, bateaux, Mucem, etc.. Nous remercions Anik pour son chaleureux accueil et nous reviendrons à Marseille dans cet appartement.

Lovely, Comfortable and Fantastic Location

My boyfriend and I had a great time staying in this apartment. It is perfect for two people. Very clean, nicely and tastefully furnished, with a warm vintage spirit. It has everything you could possibly need! The bed is so comfortable, the location is quite, and really pretty close to Vieux Port. Best of all, it's really close to some great places to shop and eat, especially around the water front, just two blocks away and on the other side of the harbour. There are some amazing shops to buy hand made ice creams, glace'. Anik was very pleasant and easy to deal with - making the process very smooth. My mom was so impressed by my review she also tried to book it shortly after we got home. It's cute, its fun, we had a great time. We highly recommend it.

We had a great time!!

August in Marseille was, as we anticipated, wonderful! Thanks to Anik, very gracious and helpful owner, she was well prepared to help us experience life as a Marseillan and all the tips were invaluable. The location was perfect, cozy best kept secret in Vieux Port district, and within walking minutes of many historical sites. We used the Marseille Pass, including the metro, very convenient. We felt safe at all times, the apt is very quiet, overlooking a sunny courtyard. Old world charm with modern amenities make this studio a gem for those on a budget en Marseille - oui oui !! We would definately recommend this apt for an authentic Marseille experience.

My partner and I just spent one week in Marseille and loved staying in this studio in the city's Panier district. It is so nice. The apartment suited our needs perfectly, and we found it spotlessly clean and furnished with everything we could have needed for our stay. Anik could not have been more helpful with the few questions we had for her. The location is amazing and perfectly located as a starting point for days of walking through what has to be one of the most beautiful parts of Marseille, Vieux Port. We plan to return and would definitely consider staying in this sweet studio again.

My husband and I spent a week in this well located studio apartment. Everything was as described. Anik helped us whenever we asked questions. Very safe, so convenient and close to everything and easy to walk to so many sights. ATM just in front, plus restaurants, two grocery stores, cheese shop, patisserie and more. Well priced and much better than a hotel. It's an easy bus ride from airport. The Vieux Port cruise and the hop on hop off bus are close by.

"Le studio est petit, propre, meublé avec goût,facile d'accès et il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer quelques jours. Salle de bain impeccable. Le lit est confortable, on y dort bien sans entendre de bruit. L'accueil d'Anik est fort sympathique et il faut souligner sa disponibilité. Si vous avez besoin d'une information, vous n'attendrez pas des heures avant le retour d'appel. L'accès internet est facile. Merveilleusement bien situé : on peut aller à pied visiter le Panier, les musées (Mucem, Vieille Charité,J1...), le Vieux Port, il est aussi à quelques pas d'une station de métro, de bus, et de navettes maritimes qui vous permettront de visiter Marseille d'une autre façon . Les restaurants et boulangeries sont à 2 pas. Goûter les glaces artisanales sur la place dont je ne me rappelle plus le nom, et surtout, près du studio, prendre un bon diner à l'Escapade Marseillaise. En résumé je recommande cette location pleine de charme, excellent rapport qualité/prix."

"My husband and I had a great time staying in this apartment. It is small, but very clean, well presented. It''s quiet at night and the bed is just perfect! The little kitchen has all that you need to cook and serve your meal - even the basic ingredients. The bathroom is yet another example and proof of good taste. The apartment is located on a lovely square in a lively part of Marseille, called "Le Panier". It''s close to a lot of "happening" places, but it''s also on a nice quiet street a block or two from just about everything you need for the perfect Marseille''s experience: cafes, patisseries, restaurants, markets, and the metro. There''s a typical outdoor market which is nice for breakfast and lunch, great stores for shopping all within easy walking distance and in the beautiful Vieux Port district. Anik was so helpful from the moment we made our reservation, through checking us in, and checking us out at the end of our stay. She replied promptly to all of our emails, and speaks English which is also so helpful. Highly recommend vacation rental! "

"We loved this apartment, charming,quiet, very clean and comfortable (great shower and comfy sofa bed). Anik was most hospitable,explaining all we needed to know about the flat as well as the surrounding area eg boulangeries, fish market,street markets, metro...She provided us with excellent maps to assist us in our first days. The flat was well, very well equipped with the necessary items for everyday living. Ideally located in the historical district we were able to easily walk to Vieux Port, Panier, and other major attractions. Access to the flat was easy and secure,people very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bars are brilliant in the proximity.We greatly enjoyed our stay in Marseille and in our flat which we were sorry to leave. We would certainly wish to stay there again on a return to Marseille."
