I really enjoyed my stay in this cute, cozy and comfortable apartment. It is perched at the very top of Montepulciano, just a block or so from Piazza Grande, and has sweeping panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside. The apartment is on the second floor and requires a climb up a steep flight of stairs. Also, note that walking to most places within the village from this apartment requires some physical endurance as most of the streets are pretty steep hills. The check-in process was very easy, friendly and accomodating and the apartment was spotlessly clean. I appreciated that there were extra pillows and blankets! The one area that was lacking was cooking appliances. The only way to heat or cook anything is with 2 burners. There is no oven, microwave, toaster or toaster oven. There is also no t.v.Otherwise the apartment was outfitted well and had everything I needed for a very enjoyable stay.

Great view from the kitchen area. Location is perfect for a short stay. Great restaurants just around the corner. Beautiful view of the sunset near by. Parking is a bit complicated as it is a very busy area but we were able to make it work.

This is a very small but charming property. My husband and I decided it “was the best seat in the house” because of the incredible view from the window. Chiara meet us on site and was available if we needed her.We would return again if coming back to Montepulciano.

The views and the location were exceptional for this apartment. Was very nice to not be in the crazy tourist area rather up on the hill with views of vineyards and olive trees. Walking distance to the entire fortress area. Sizeable property for what we needed. On demand hot water was luxurious! This property is at the top of the hill that you need to take narrow, winding roads to get to! Good to have an idea on parking before you drive up. There is a paid parking lot very close by and 8 minutes straight down a hill there is a gravel parking lot that this free to leave your car over night at. Recommend checking with the host on options before you arrive. Would absolutely stay at this apartment again.

Great accommodation in Montepulciano

La Casina Cantini was the perfect spot for our 3 nights in Montepulciano. The Cantini’s location was great and is in walking distance of all the main sites and several wonderful restaurants. The view from the room is amazing! The accommodations were simple, but ample and up to date—we lacked for nothing. Our host Chiara, was friendly, helpful and very responsive. We had a wonderful time in Montepulciano, tasting wines, visiting the city sites and eating some amazing food. We would certainly recommend both visiting Montepulciano and staying at La Casina Cantini.

Simple apartment, great location in Montepulciano

This is a very simple and basic apartment with a beautiful view, and a great location in Montepulciano. There are a few free parking spots on the street, some paid parking down the hill, and more free parking spots by the Lama Café. It’s clean, the host was very responsive, and it got the job done. It’s more of a workhorse than luxury. The bathroom could use some hooks for towels and a shelf to store toiletries. But it got the job done and the location can’t be beat.

Perfect location

Great little apartment right next to an entrance to the old town. Everything you want to see and eat is within a few minutes walking. The view from the apartment is stunning and Montepulciano is the perfect Tuscan town, and easy driving to all the highlights of the area.

Great location and view from the apartment

Close to restaurants and coffee. Having a car made it a great location as we were able to drive to surrounding areas. Apartment was small but clean and perfect for what we needed. I was first concerned about walking in the town as it is very steep. However, we were looking at the shops and restaurants so our slower pace made it easy to walk up the hills. Wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

The view is breathtaking, the unit is as described . The BED is awful ! Would probably not stay again just because of the bed if that’s what that. It is a deal breaker and you’re going to feel every bit of the metal and wood support. Needs an information book and very few amenities in kitchen

Great apartment with a view!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this great little apartment. It is clean and comfortable for two people. We loved being able to cook at home for a change after traveling for the past month. We were able to buy fresh pasta from the market down the road so that was perfect. The host was fantastic with communication and made an excellent dinner recommendation which is literally next door. Finally the view from the kitchen is gorgeous! It’s great to be able to open the window in the morning and enjoy the Tuscan sunrise. I definitely recommend it you want to stay in the historic town of Montepulciano!

Great Location, Fantastic View

I stayed here for almost seven weeks in September/October 2024 while I attended classes at Il Sasso Italian language school. It was a fantastic stay in every way. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, and exactly as advertised. The property manager responds immediately to every question or concern. The location is ideal and offers a panoramic view of the amazing Tuscan countryside. The apartment is small but the high beamed ceilings give it a spacious feel. I was very happy to have chosen this property for my extended stay in Montepulciano.

This appartement is well located in montepulciano. You can park besides the door, or a Little farther in a big parking. The view is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. The hostess is so kind et respond to all messages and questions. It was an amazing stand

Lovely Location in Beautiful a Montepulciano

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little apartment. The size of the space was perfect for the two of us and the view over the field was absolutely breathtaking. It is close to everything, easy to find, and was very clean. There were extra towels and toilet paper, which was much appreciated, there was an iron and ironing board and lots of space for us to put our luggage and clothing. It is in the heart of the old part of Montepulciano, so made it very easy to explore the area. It is very quiet in the evening which made it enjoyable. We were able to make our own dinner and have our own drinks on the small doorstep patio. Check-in was easy and the host was very responsive our entire visit. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful little piece of heaven in Tuscany. There are places very nearby to have dinner, grab something for breakfast, or have drinks in the evening without having to drive anywhere which is exactly what we wanted. There is a large Conad grocery store down the hill if you want to buy groceries. It’s a short drive to many beautiful wineries in the area and easy to do day trips to other areas of Tuscany. We had a wonderful time here!!

Amazing View

What and amazing view with beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Thankyou Chiara for a wonderful stay at your La Casina Cantina - Such close proximity to Piazza Grande , great coffee, food, wine and so much to explore in this beautiful city and surrounds. We enjoyed hearing the birds songs and watching them soar plus also seeing the different coloured blossoms come and go on the trees through the front window.
