Exceptional Experience

We loved this apartment! The location was perfect for us (just two streets away from the Rambla but on a very quiet street) and the property was exceptionally clean. To keep expectations realistic, the building is almost 120 years old with some original features. We thought it was charming and lovely and only added to our experience. It had all the conveniences: washing machine, dishwasher, fully outfitted kitchen, smart tv, wall unit a/c, and a ton of sleeping areas. Our host, Maite, was incredible. She met us at the apartment to let us in and go over all the details. She also helped us with securing a car service when we had to go outside of Barcelona for a wedding. Maite was kind, personable, knowledgeable about the apartment and neighborhood, and very helpful. A few things I would tell the next visitor: there is a taxi stand just one street away (between the apartment and Rambla), which is great for getting around town! The Rambla has wonderful dining options for every taste. Just walk to the beach if you can. It is so much easier than using a car/taxi. We did two trips with Cabify and both times they tried to go to the hotel across the street - just be clear that you are not at the hotel. Whatever you do, do NOT miss the French pastry shop a couple of doors down from the apartment entrance! It is superb.

Overall excellent stay in PobleNou

First, very excellent communication with the host and for arranging check-in. We were exhausted from transatlantic travel and no sleep, and Maite was very helpful in making sure we could get settled in. We chose the apartment due to it's location in PobleNou, still in the city but a little tucked away from more crowded areas like the Rambla and Gracia neighborhood. It was perfect for the proximity to the Rambla PobleNou and Platja Bogatell. The apartment itself has plenty of places to sleep. We were traveling as a family so having separate rooms to spread out was great. We didn't really use the kitchen much because We were always out and about in the city. The weather was great temperature-wise for our stay but if not there were space heaters or air conditioners available. Someone renting would want to know that the bathroom is a bit tighter just in terms of the placement of toilet in front of shower. Because of excellent host communication, we felt very comfortable from the beginning and staying in an apartment made it very comfortable to show our kids some of the best of Barcelona.

Fantastic place

We had a group of 6 and we were all quite comfortable. Apartment had everything we needed. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We made breakfast every morning. Location is unbeatable, near to the beach and the restaurants of the Rambla of Poblenou, but away from the bustle of central Barcelona. Would stay there again. One bathroom and several flights of stairs (there is a small elevator) may be a problem for some groups, but fine for us.

Barcelona retreat

This flat is in a great location for walking to the beach, getting to the local Rambla for food and access to the TMB. My family enjoyed the French pastry shop just 3 doors down from this location. Maite was wonderful to communicate with and very helpful.

Great spot with really helpful Staff

Our baggage didn't arrive with us and we were 6 hours late but Miete & Alberto met us and assisted us with our baggage problem. They also helped with our plans for our stay. All very helpful! Thanks!

our beach stay

Our host, Maite met us at the apartment. She made us feel welcome and gave us excellent tips on what to see and where to dine. The property was clean and spacious. The accommodations were as described and adequate. It was only a short distance to a grocery store and bus stops/subway. The beach was just a short walk and there were many places to dine out in the area.

Coole Lage, etwas abseits im Quartier Poblenou. Klein aber fein, viele Restaurants & Läden. Viel leiser & gemütlicher als mitten im Zentrum. Mit der Metro ist man in ca. 10 Min. im Zentrum. Metro-station ca. 3 Min. von der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist etwas veraltet, aber schön. Kleiner als auf den Fotos, jedoch ausreichend. Einziger - Punkt > die Betten. Die waren sehr unbequem. Kontakt > am Besten gleich Ana anrufen & alles vereinbaren. Das klappt prima. Ihre Schwester Maite & ihr Mann waren bei der Ankunft in der Wohnung & haben uns alles erklärt & noch einige Tipps zu Barça abgegeben. Waren sehr herzlich, vielen Dank.

Very good localization. If you want to stay in Barcelona you don't even need a car. you can use the metro to get to everywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay in Barecelona, and part of it is due to Ana's apartment. It was exactly as advertised (very nice) and perfectly clean (including towels, bed sheets). The hostess was there to welcome us, and she spent a moment giving us useful tips about the city and great places to eat. Poblenou neighborhood is very calm, restaurants are pretty cheap but yet tasty and the beach is reachable by foot (10 min. walking). We'll definitely come back.

Logement est situé dans un quartier très agréable, à 3 station de métro de quartier historique. logement est propre, corresponds aux photos, très lumineux. Le métro est à 5 minutes de marche à pieds. La plage ( moins bondée que les autres plages de Barcelone) est à 10 minutes en prenant la grande boulevard piétonne où sont installé des restaurants et des bar. (une sorte de ramblas boqueria mais des touristes en moins..) Ana parle français, elle est très disponible pour la moindre demande. ( un grand merci pour le taxi :-) )
