Beautiful large house in a fantastic location

The house is great, literally in the middle of nowhere with a fantastic view. Very large and comfortably accommodated our party of 11. Note a couple of the rooms are designed for children and have low beams but there are plenty to choose from so should easily accommodate most groups. Maurice kindly met us in the village and took us up to the house as sat nav takes you through the woods. As Maurice doesn’t speak English and our French is poor check in was interesting but between us, Google translate and a lot of pointing we got there. Due to a recent storm there was an issue with the temperature of the pool when we arrived. We raised this with Thierry and Maurice came that day and sorted it. The house is well equipped both inside and out with everything you need. The area is lovely out top recommendations for days out would be Bergerac and Wine Tasting in Saint Emillion. Our only recommendation to the owner would be to include an information pack of where the local supermarket, boulangerie etc are. Would highly recommend to any group looking for somewhere to escape.

A beautiful house in a stunning quiet setting. Pool was wonderful.

A hugely spacious characterful property for 10 of us including 4 children under 6. Stunning setting, so peaceful. Owner was really helpful especially when air conditioning broken in a couple of rooms, got it fixed asap. Would recommend and book again!

Avons passé un très bon séjour dans un site magnifique. L’accueil de Maurice était sympathique. Manque juste des supports serviettes supplémentaires dans les salles de bain. Pas assez de photos de la location sur le site.

Séjour au vert et au calme

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est située au sommet d'une colline et offre une très belle vue sur les environs. La piscine est chauffée et sécurisée. Toutes les chambres sont très confortables et disposent d'une salle de bain. Le calme est garanti car aucune route ne passe à proximité de la propriété (on y accède par un chemin carrossable). Le prix de la location reste tout de même élevé par rapport à la prestation offerte. Mais je recommande quand même cette maison.

Fantastische familie vakantie

Prachtig en ruim huis, waar we een fantastische 2 weken hebben gehad, ideaal voor een grote familie. Vanaf het terras heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei waar we elke dag ontbijt, lunch en diner hadden. De gastheer Maurice was ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huis dan ook zeer aan te raden!

Top locatie en prachtig huis

Van zodra je toekomt merk je dat je de juiste keuze hebt gemaakt. Het uitzicht is prachtig. De rust is enorm. Het huis is super: elke kamer heeft airco, een goed bed, de keuken is heel goed uitgerust, voldoende frigo’s, ijsblokjesmachine, ... Kortom, alles is aanwezig om van uw verblijf een geslaagd verlof te maken. Als ik een min punt moet vermelden: de internet verbinding is heel traag. Indien er kinderen bijzijn die veel willen surfen (films bekijken, ...) zal dit niet lukken. Maar ... wie wil nu op verlof internet gebruiken? ;-)

Wonderful house in amazing location!

Our family group of 13 people ranging from 3 - 68 had a really wonderful holiday staying at this fabulous house. The location couldn't be better standing at the top of a hill with amazing views across the French countryside We spent many happy hours on the terrace having long lunches enjoying the views and also dinner watching the sunset. Even the thunder and lightening was spectacular from the terrace! The 4 grandchildren had the most marvellous time in the swimming pool and using the games in the garden, also the pool alarm was extremely useful. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked two weeks at the house. We would love to go back!!

A fabulous weekend in a lovely setting

We had our annual friends-get-together-weekend at the house in Manzac. The lay-out of the house caters very well for several families staying together. The views are beautiful, we spend hours on the terrace outside (in October) and thanks to the fact the pool is heated we were still able to swim in October. The kitchen was well equipped. The only possible improvements are for a bigger table in the kitchen (but I guess in summer you'll eat outside which has two large tables) and a few more toys/games etc for the kids to play with. I am sure that we'll be back!
