A visit to the Gulf Coast has long been an annual tradition for our family. Living in the dryland hills of North Mississippi, we head for the Gulf at vacation time. When the children were young, we traveled south when school was out – usually during summer, or perhaps to enjoy the mild weather of fall or spring break. As they grew up, the cool winter months beckoned us for a grown-up getaway. Now the tradition has come full circle, as our children take their own children back to the Coast.

Over the years we have stayed in several different kinds of lodgings on our Florida trips. Our townhome in the picturesque community of Beachwalk Villas combines the best of what we’ve always loved about the Coast. The wide variety of activities makes the area endlessly adaptable. From toddlers to teens, from young parents to us old folks, every age discovers experiences that are enticing and exciting for them. None are ever bored, unless, of course, they want to be, unless they want– at least for a little while – for the pace of life to slow down in this quiet, peaceful refuge.

Our Mississippi home is filled with photographs recalling cherished memories of our times together at the beach. We are happy to share our coastal home with you as you create your own memories. May they be as rewarding and meaningful as ours.
