To check into the apartment you need to find a lock, attached to a bike rack, outside the apartment - between a church and a restaurant, that contains the keys. The apartment is on the second floor, overlooking an alleyway. There is about one hour when the apartment gets enough daylight that you don’t have to use the interior lights. Overall, it’s very dark inside. It’s an extra fee to get additional towels and drying off after one shower renders the towel unusable for the rest of the day. We had to buy a kitchen sponge for washing the dishes. We also bought paper towels (none in the apartment) and toilet paper. The apartment came with 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 nights. The instructions said, “ Choosing an apartment means choosing to live like a local during your stay, which includes shopping for supplies.”
