Busy timeshare resort

The location was great for going to the parks. The condo was not like the pictures as far as decor. It had the same layout but retro design. The resort is a timeshare resort therefore they offer people very good deals to stay there to get people to buy into it. It was just too over crowded for us. Owner was great throughout the whole process.

Beautiful!

We loved your beautiful 2 bedroom condo, in the 1300 building, over looking the lake. Everything was clean and updated just as pictured! I especially enjoyed the large hot tub in the master bedroom. There was plenty of space for the 2 of us and our 2 teens to spread out. We were thrilled to be only minutes away from Universal and Sea World with no traffic to contend with. We had fun playing the complimentary putt putt course, and walking the beautiful property along the lake, and swimming in the pools and hot tubs. We didn't hear any noise in the condo from the main pool activities. Although, the cheering during one of the morning boat races on the lake made sleeping in past 9am impossible. We enjoyed all the fantastic restaurants near by and Whole Foods, Wal-mart and Publix were only minutes away. We ate at the properties new restaurant, Duff's, once and thought it was just ok. We didn't go back with so many other amazing places near by. We especially enjoyed Seito's Sushi, Hot N Juicy Crawfish, Ayothaya Thai Cuisine, Saffron Indian Cuisine, and Rocco's Tacos and Tequila bar (a bit loud though). We only had to park in the near by garage one of the nights, as the parking in front of the condo was full, but most of the time we could find a spot right out front. We paid $20 to reserve a spot at a "free breakfast", but then after talking to other guests who said the food wasn't very good and they were hammered by sales people for over 2 hours, we realized this was the time share presentation and chose to give up our $20 and skip the "free breakfast". Over all though, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Review of Westgate Lakes 2 bedroom condo

I have stayed at Westgate Lakes before and it was just as nice this time, even better with updated appliances and countertops, etc. The location is perfect for visiting all the theme parks. So much more room than a hotel. We only had a short trip this time so really only slept there, but we have used the pools in the past when we had more time. Having a washer dryer is a huge plus.

You may find other rental condominiums available at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa during your travel period, however, our newly remodeled condo is literally on the waters edge! Walk out the front door and you are looking down at one of the resort's 7-pools. Or sit and enjoy dinner or a glass of wine on your private balcony overlooking the lake while listening to the peaceful sounds of lakefront living.

Our condominium is also best situated as the closest to the marina, tennis courts and miniature golf which literally are all steps away!

When you are back from the parks, the location of this condo places you at the heart of the resort which allows you and your family easy access to awesome resort amenities!
