Disappointment

Lovely building in good location , but huge building site next door and 4 days of constant noise which we feel we should have been told about before final payment. We had to ask for fresh linen and towels to be changed ..... surely on a 10 day stay this should be done automatically? No air con , but fans in bedrooms that were covered in dust and dirt and thus when switched on just spread this all over the bedrooms. Not a ten min walk to beach...more like 15 down the hill and at least 20 mins or more up

Villa oberhalb Luz

die Ankunft war einfach, gute Beschreibung, Schlüssel war in Box deponiert. Die Villa war sehr sauber. Alles da was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Gute Lage, man kann gut zu Fuss ins Städtchen Luz gehen (ca. 20 min) In Luz gibt es viele sehr gute Restaurants. Man kann in der Umgebung surfen, wandern, baden und auch Kayak fahren. Der Pool ist riesig und es hat viel Platz im Garten um zu relaxen. Wir waren im Oktober 2020 hier und haben uns trotz der Covid-19 Pandemie sehr wohl gefühlt an der Algarve. Wir kommen sicher eines Tages zurück nach Portugal! Wir empfehlen dieses Haus auch für Familien mit Teenagern. Empfehlungen: Surfkurs bei der „Salty Waves“ Surfschule machen

Villa Montanha

We all loved our stay here. The villa is beautiful and very well equipped and beautifully clean. It is located at the top of quite a steep hill, around a 25 minute walk to the beach and around 15 minute walk to the shop/restaurants, so a car may be advisable. It is located at the end of a no through road which makes it very quite and peaceful both day and night. The local bars and restaurants are fantastic and there is all sorts of food available. You would not be disappointed with a stay at this villa.

Amazing villa!

We enjoyed a lovely week at Villa Montanha in July 2018. The Villa is really well equipped and has everything you need and the owners are really helpful and on hand if you have any queries. Although a car isn’t really necessary it would be useful, especially if you are staying for more than a week. The centre of Luz and the beach are around a 20-30 minute walk from the Villa, which is up hill on the walk back. We enjoyed some really good meals at La Fabrica and The Dolphin Restaurant (Bosmans), both recommendations from the owners. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Beautiful villa

The villa is beautiful, even nicer than expected and the swimming pool was great, a good size and very clean. Everything that you could possibly need was there for us. We had a wonderful stay.
