We had an amazing stay at this villa. There were four adults and four kids under 10 in our group. The villa was well stocked, the rooms are spacious and the veranda and views were so beautiful. The host met us to check us in and was available to answer questions and offer advice. I would definitely return!

Great but very poor safety wise. Not a single handrail on the steps. One of party ended in hospital with a. Broken hip. No grab rails to showers. Washing machine needs instructions in english

Amazing!

Set on a hilltop overlooking the sea, the city, the mountains with a gentle breeze keeping you cool on those beautiful summer evenings one can not ask for more! Oh yeah, I forgot, the view of the daily sunsets are spectacular! I stayed here with my family of 4 plus my in-laws and created amazing memories. Antonis was a great host, Always available to help. The property itself is well maintained, spacious, comfortable (just as listed and better). Although besides sleeping our time was mainly spent outdoors. Cooking/eating/ swimming and lounging! Antonis thank you for sharing your property with us! Hope to be back soon.

fabulous Villa

We stayed at the Karmilos Hill Villa for a week commencing 23rd September. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough, for anyone that values their privacy this is an idea place to stay, yet close enough to Chania to walk in to town for those of you who enjoy walking. We opted for the 8 euro taxi ride. Everything you need is there for you to use. Antonis was at the end of the phone if you require any type of assistance and he was very helpful to us when we needed him at very short notice. Great villa, great stay we highly recommend it. Thank you again.

Exceptional villa with the most stunning views

This is the best property we have stayed in for a number of reasons, these being the amazing views, great location, tranquility, spaciousness of the living accommodation but the absolute stand out feature are the incredible outside areas. We stayed here for 11 days and other than going out to eat in the evenings and to get some shopping we didn’t leave the property. There are cheaper villas available but this place is worth every penny of the additional cost.

Fantastic Stay

Wonderful stay at a beautiful villa with fantastic hosts. If I could give 6 stars I would. From the start we were greeted by fantastic hosts who supplied us with a full cupboard and fridge of local products and good local info of where to go and what to do. The villa is located just above the town of Chania on a private road, it has gated access and a garage to keep the car cool. The kitchen is modern with all mod cons including a large fridge freezer with Ice on tap. The bedrooms are all good sizes and all rooms have a. balcony with a view. The best part of the villa is the outside area which has a large terrace with a lovely pool and has a glass wrap around balcony to enjoy the sea views and the town below. Being high up there was always a breeze which was well needed in the middle of August. Taxi's to the centre of town were only 7 euros and took 15 minutes to get into the town. The town itself was beautiful and despite being there for 10 days, we only scraped the surface, we cant wait to return one day and discover some more. If you are looking for a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings with all mod cons which is only a short drive from the hustle and bustle of a beautiful historic and vibrant town then this is the place for you. Thankyou to our amazing hosts x

Beauty beyond words and photos!

Words cannot express the beauty of the villa (impeccably clean) and the fantastic surrounding views. The photos do not do it justice (we have stayed at many villas around Greece and the world). We arrived to a well stocked refrigerator and had everything we needed, and even more. There is plenty of privacy and quiet, and we did not want to leave. We stayed for 8 days and the sunsets were the best show in town (I think even better than down in Chania). It is easy to explore the region (by car) from the villa, and we chose to walk to Chania and back after dinner when we ate out. Also easy to have a taxi sent, as we did the first day since we had dinner reservations (our arrival was delayed at the car rental company in Heraklion). The villa is appropriate for families (many bedrooms/bathrooms) and sitting areas inside and out, as well as couples looking for a romantic getaway. The host was extremely responsive and checked in on us to ensure we were satisfied. We hope to return again in the near future.

The biggest advantage of the villa is its location, as it is very close to the center of the city of Chania, on a privately owned hill where it has an incredible view and absolute peace.
