We found Casa Costera met all our requirements. I was looking for somewhere to stay, close to Moreira but without spending too much money and as soon as we arrived I was pleased with my choice.
The villa is only 20 minutes walk to the main beach and there is a MassyMas at the bottom of the hill. It has a pleasant aspect, the terrace faces west and you have the sun right until it goes down over the other side of the valley. There is a great sun deck on the top of the property and there is all the outdoor furniture you need. The bottom terrance has been recently updated and it is a pleasant place to sit, there are plants and flowers so it is quite homely; it was quiet and peaceful. There is a washing machine, which was handy for a two week stay.
Inside the villa is very clean and tidy. The kitchen had all we needed and the two bedrooms where ample for the three of us, four wouldn't be a problem either. There are plenty of little touches that make it feel homely, such as pictures and books. The bathroom perhaps needs updating to meet the rest of the villa, but it is not somewhere you would spend much time anyway.
The villa has covered parking and there is a good sized pool close by. We spent a few mornings and afternoons by the pool. Occasionally there would be one or two other people their but it is spacious and pleasant, again facing west so plenty of sun.
I looked for buses but there aren't any local ones, however its easy to jump into a taxi from the rank in Moraira and it was only €7 to get home if you didn't fancy the walk. El Portet is a little further to walk but its nice to look at the big villas up the hill. I was pleased with the location because I thought it looked a bit out of town, it isn't really.
I've rated the villa five stars because I was really happy with what we got and the owners were easy to deal with. We had no problems at all and enjoyed two weeks enjoying all the Moraira has to offer.
