All good!

Easy check-in in this clean and spacious apartment with a super quiet bedroom. The location could not be better: restaurants and the city’s main market are steps away, and the train station (and tram to airport) and all major tourist spots a short walk from the apartment. Highly recommended.

Window of Life

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paolo's apartment. His son traveled through the storm to met us for check in. The home was warm and comfortable with plenty of space for two adults. We were able to watch the world pass on the street below, but with the windows closed the sounds were hardly noticeable. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings were in excellent shape. The bathroom was a bit tiny, but the shower was a great size and there was plenty of hot water. This was a great stay for a week of tourism.

Paolo’s apartment is in an excellent location, with a lot of space, a great kitchen with a washing machine and a large, cool, dark bedroom. The building has a lot of charm, with stone walls and ancient wooden beams along the ceiling. You are literally steps from local eats, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the train station. Yet despite its central location, the apartment is quiet during the evening and in the early morning. Upon our arrival he greeted us and told us all about the apartment, and local places to eat and see during our stay. He was also easy to communicate with during our stay. We would recommend this apartment to you for your stay in Florence.

Great location

Great location. Relatively quiet considering on a busy street. Host responsive. Great check in. Only problem was it wasn’t very suited to anyone with a suitcase. A few floors of narrow stairs to manoeuvre in wasn’t fun.

Amazing Apartment in an Amazing Location

The apartment is drop dead beautiful. Wood beam ceiling dating back to the 1500s. The location is ideal. Around the corner from the Central Market and the leather market. About two blocks from train station to Lucca and other beautiful places I visited. And the tram to the airport is even closer. All in all, a great place to rent.

Amazing location

This place is amazing. I could not have asked for a better location. The tram is a 5 minute walk, which goes directly to the airport. The train station and all the sites are within a short walking distance. The place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Spotless, great location, beautiful

I stayed here in Feb./Mar. 2023 with my 15 y/o daughter. We could not have been more pleased. The place was spotless, well appointed, comfortable and homey. We planned to go on a number of excursions, so we chose something close to The Santa Maria Novella train station. It was so close, we could walk; even with our big suitcases on our way in and out. Absolutely everything was practically on our doorstep. The duomo, leather market, Central market, shopping, eating, history…everything. I can’t express how perfect this place was for us. It was my daughter’s first time in Italy and, at 15, she wants independence, but is still a kid. The loft sleeping area was perfect for her and a cool space at the same time. I slept in the main bedroom which was quiet and comfortable. I slept like a baby. The day it rained, we stayed in for a couple hours and watched tv. Again, cozy and welcoming. This property is very well kept and cared for. Paulo greeted us when we got there and checked in half way through our stay. We were so busy having a great time because we were staying right in the middle of everything and the place was so perfect, we didn’t need much. High praise for Paulo who has obviously works hard to make sure his guests can make the most of their vacation. This is everything and more of what you want in a vacation rental. We were sorry we had to leave. Thank you Paulo.

Great Location

We spent 5 nights at this apartment and everything from check-in to leaving went well. Pros: Location, Beds are comfortable...even the couch bed. Cons: Stairs and small bathroom (neither were real bad) The location of this place is a short walk from the train station and a short walk to all the sites. Plenty of restaurants and stores near by. The host met us at check in and then checked on us during the stay. The listing was as described.

Great location, great apartment, great host!

The apartment is in a great location, very central to historic Firenze and near my new favorite restaurant, Brandolini! Paulo was terrific, very accommodating and even checked in a couple of times during my stay. I would definitely rent from him again. Thanks Paulo.

Spacious accommodation

Perfect Host

This property is in the perfect location for the train and places to see. We were able to walk to everything we needed. Paolo was at the apartment to meet us at check in. He showed us all the features of the unit and gave recommendations for shopping and eating. Would happily stay again.

Great location in Florence!

Great location with easy access to the Duomo and river! Check in was easy and accommodating, as our train was ~1 h late from Rome. Paolo also let us leave our bags after check out so we could spend more time in Florence before heading out. The shower is a little small, but apartment was a good size for 2-3 people. Stairs up to the apartment are narrow, so be prepared to carry your bags up. The only issue we ran into upon arrival is that the street numbers are not chronological, so we were half a block off.

Staying here in Florence was so great! It felt like a truly authentic experience of how people live in Firenze. This was homey, and comfortable. There was an accurate portrayal of the property, very clean, and great location. Very close to the duomo, and important sites. You do have to climb up a few flights of stairs, but the view is worth it! We stayed here (family of 5) and were quite comfortable. Paulo was very hospitable and explained how to use all the appliances in the property and gave us great recommendations for local amenities. He even had a nice bottle of wine and water to refresh us- gratis. I would definitely stay here again!

Séjour en couple, mai 2018. Appartement très bien situé, spacieux, propre et bien équipé au 3ème étage d'un immeuble de ville dans une rue animée de Florence. A proximité du centre historique, des gares routière et ferroviaire. Il y a de nombreux restaurants, boutiques et bien sûr le Mercato Centrale. Ustensiles de cuisine et équipements électro ménager visiblement entretenus ou récents. Très bonne literie. Merci à Paolo, toujours disponible et répondant rapidement à nos questions. Nous avons bien apprécié la bouteille de Chianti qu'il nous a offerte en cadeau de bienvenu. Exceptional apartment close to everything

Paulo was a wonderful host. He was very responsive throughout the whole process and very accommodating when he met us earlier than check in so we could drop our bags since we were arriving early in the morning. His apartment is fabulous! So quaint and homey and you feel like you’re in a Tuscan villa. This was the best place we stayed at in our travels from Rome - Florence - Venice. The bottle of wine upon check in was a lovely touch. If we could give him more than five stars, we would!
