Super friendly host. The electricity went out before our check in and host let us know right away. Made sure the house was stocked with wood and had lanterns. Very accommodating and made our stay wonderful. This place is very dog friendly with toys and dog in closure.

The host was welcoming however we were disappointed that the wood stove was unavailable and that there were restrictions on the hot tub.

Donna was very welcoming and had things set things up just perfectly for our dog. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck and hot tub were the stars of the show in my opinion. Very relaxing, well kept property.

Such a perfect home in every aspect for myself, husband and two dogs; lovely grounds, quiet location, warm and inviting home plus doggy yard. Loved the hot tub too! Donna was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to returning soon!!

Wonderful place to relax!

Upon arrival we were greeted by Donna, who gave us a tour. The house is nice and comfy. We felt like we were at home, everything we needed. We were traveling with our beagle and she had a bowl of water waiting just for him! The town is small, but definitely go to Cooks Beach where pets are allowed leash free. The Black Door had wonderful mexican food, Gualala Seafood Shack for fish, and Trinks for the most decadent desserts and coffee.

Great Stay

The place was spotless and clean. The owner was gracious and welcomed us and showed us around. There was an enclosed dog run for our dog, which was a great added bonus! The hot tub was wonderful and great for star gazing. It was quiet and wonderful just what we wanted. A great place to stay. Definitely would go back again and have recommended it to others!!

As advertised. Host was very accommodating. Close enough to the ocean to hear it from the property. Well stocked kitchen equipment. Cozy place in a storm.

Comfortable and Spacious

Quiet rural street in Anchor Bay with two homes (one is the owner) on large beautifully landscaped acreage. Private hot tub, nice deck with furniture, lots of space and light in the house, fully stocked and functional kitchen (all you need is food), open floor plan, heater works great, shower with good water pressure - really can't think of anything lacking. Great location for hiking on the Stornetta land trust near Pt Arena. We went two days in a row, out from one trailhead the first day and the other trailhead the next. Also very close to nice hike on Falcon Bluff.We stayed for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The owner is very nice and worth spending time with to chat.

Perfect for family and dogs

Donna was welcoming. She gave us excellant guidance on close beaches perfect for dogs to run and kids to play. The dog run off the back door was so helpful.

Beach Getaway

Excellent place to stay if you are a beach, star gazing lover and are traveling with your dog. The house is extremely confortable and equipped with anything you may need and more! In particular for your furry friend! Donna is also a great host. Looking forward to another visit next summer

The epitome of cozy comfort!

My wife and I and our two dogs stayed for a few nights and we’re just thrilled with the comfy accommodations and the ease of communication with Donna. Our dogs felt right at home, and had a wonderful front lawn to lie in, a back dog run to do their business, and another small patio to hang out if they didn’t want to be in the house. These amenities made it so easy for us to be there and relax! Loved the hot tub too! Aaaahhhh!

4-Night Stay

Quiet, green property with a house that seems larger than the square footage would suggest. Elevated deck with hot tub and serenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay. Donna understands how to manage helpful guidance at the same time as allowing privacy. And we've never stayed at a place that is setup better for dogs. Nothing but good things to say about our stay.

Relaxing spot

Cozy little cottage. The host Donna is the sweetest lady. Great spot for dogs. Our 2 Doodles loved it. Great location and easy to get around the area.

Great stay!

Donna was a perfect hostess, she was there if we needed but also gave us privacy to enjoy our vacation. I stayed with my 10 year old and our dog and we all had a really great time. The home is set up perfectly for a relaxing trip. We would love to come back again!
