Great location for what we wanted. Enjoyed the space of unit. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Property management were responsive to any minor repair issues

It was… enough. This property is clearly very old and probably tough to maintain. It sufficed for a place to sleep, shower, and cook a few meals, but I wouldn’t describe it as “nice”. It was just okay and just sufficient. The dumpster is also right outside of this unit and the garbage truck woke us ALL up at 6am every other day. That really sucked. Bring earplugs.

All kinds of issues

This was the most difficult stay i have ever had using VRBO. The stairs were literally falling off, which was discovered by my 81 yesr old mother which could have been a disaster, the shower door fell off and outlets did not work. I do have to say, they came and fixed everything and were very responsive. I was surprised at this had a rating of 8.9. This was not an 8.9 property.

Great location amazing owners

My family and I went to the coast to celebrate my husbands 38th birthday. We wanted to be close enough to the beach we could drive but far enough not to not effected by the traffic. This house was perfect! It was perfectly clean and ready for our arrival. We had one issue that was of no fault of the owners and they still fixed it extremely quickly! I will definitely be staying here again!

The condo was good however, it could use new shower heads in both bathrooms. A must after a hot day on the beach. Also, the bbq is a community one and is on its last rusty leg. All in all we would give it a 4 1/2 stars.

Very clean condo and good location

This was probably the cleanest condo we’ve rented. We brought our boat so having a boat slip and boat ramp was important. Beds were comfortable except the sofa bed. We had a petite 20 something sleeping on it and she just slept on the couch after the first night. Things that could be improved upon are the $50 we paid to property manager to park our boat trailer at a site close by closed at 10 pm and we were not given correct information to get in after hours and had to park on the street the first night. Also, we had 8 people and only 6 bath towels. I would recommend to boaters only if you can get there before dark.

Condo was clean when we arrived. The unit is in need of some updates, along with repairs. The whole complex looks older on the outside and needs to desperately be painted. Mgt was quick to answer calls but disappointed that we had to insist on extra towels for our family before housekeeping would bring them the next day. Electrical breakers kept being thrown, a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, our stay was good and we had a blast!

Several things: The main floor restroom has wooden towel holders that can no longer attach to the wall. There are holes in the wall and the towel bar was just in there. Second bedroom with the opening had no pillow cases on the pillows. The restroom upstairs has glass shelves on the shower stall that are ready to fall out. There is pink mold on the bottom that needs to be scrubbed. The throw pillow for the second bedroom we dirty and did not place them on the bed. The beds we so comfortable. It’s a little dated but worked perfectly for our family size.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, the place was clean, spacious, and had all materials we needed regarding towels, dishes, starter cleaning materials, etc. There were just a few notes for improvement: The downstairs shower did not have hot water. This made for a very cold shower the first morning, but luckily the upstairs shower worked as expected, so we all had to share that one. The dishwasher was also not working. We ran a load, but the dishes still came out dirty. We hand washed our dishes instead. Not a big deal, but something to note. The wifi connection was also very limited. If we were in a room besides the living room or kitchen, we couldn’t get a consistent connection.Those were the only things. The beds were super soft and clean, the space was comfortable, and the view was fantastic.

Mixed Feelings

We've stayed at The Spinnaker before and had a pleasant experience, but this particular unit had some issues. Upon arrival, we found the temperature to be extremely high, taking a while to cool down. It would have been considerate if the management had pre-cooled the unit, especially during the summer season. Additionally, we noticed the fridge was likely turned off and then turned back on just before our arrival, making it uncomfortably warm. As a result, we stored our food and drinks in ice chests until the next day. Another issue was the lack of direct access to the back dock/canal. We had to go through the pool and then navigate back to our unit, making fishing a hassle. Furthermore, it appears that the property owner/management company doesn't conduct regular maintenance checks. The shower door came off its rails, the shower handle fell off the door, and the showerhead sprayed water sideways, soaking the toilet and floor. I spent almost an hour fixing these problems that weren't my responsibility. The only positive aspect was the comfortable beds and pillows. Overall, our stay was disappointing due to these issues.

NOT Family Friendly

Where do I begin? First off... the check-in time states 4 pm... I didn't even get the check in email until a little after 5:10 (have screenshots if you need proof) after contacting the owner multiple times asking when I would be receiving the check in information since we were coming from out of town (nothing like leaving it to the last minute), the dock area is through the pool area that was NEVER communicated until I asked, the pool and hot tub area was filled with construction guys sitting there taking breaks on and off while my family and I tried to swim, the construction guys ended up painting handrails and parking spots and didn't let anyone know or put up wet paint signs until mid day so now we have paint in our vehicle floor board and on multiple people clothes, the parking spot SUCKS if you have anything larger than a compact vehicle or a motorcycle, the "clean towels" were damp when we got there so we ended up having to dry our towels before we could even take a shower, some couple next door was heavily making out and had the lady's top off on the DECK and luckily my dad and their dad always go out and check before letting them go outside with them, there are no rules whatsoever about not feeding any birds or animals on the property yet when you do, you get nasty grams immediately after... It's a horrific place for kids & families wanting to get away... If you're into the construction, rude, and pure disgusting surroundings, book away.
