My husband & I along with our 2 boys (ages 3 & 6) stayed here from 7/17-22. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very well equipped from the kitchen items to the beach equipment. Our boys absolutely loved the bunk beds and were very sad to leave their little beach sanctuary. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and to get yummy treats at Ellie's Table cafe. We all really enjoyed walking down each night to watch the sunset and our kids especially enjoyed the swings and slide at the beach. We look forward to staying again!

Cute Cottage near great places and beach

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was a perfect size for our 2 kids and dog. PROS Everything was in great condition and comfortable. There was an oversized couch we loved as well as comfy outside furniture. The owner was easily accessible and helped us to unlock the child lock on the stove as well as replace a lightbulb in front. Every type of dish and pan that is needed is right there. We LOVED the two coffee shops in walking distance (a French one that overlooks the ocean and High Tide). We ate daily at the Shwak Cantina, which is the BEST Mexican food and atmosphere for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed the 1+ mile walk to the pier, but due to a landslide... much of the beach walking parts is closed, so you walk through the neighborhoods. CONS What we did not realize is that it is actually a duplex where you have a shared wall with other tenants. The wall is thin (only from the master bedroom) and conversations as well as the tv can be heard. You are also sharing the washer dryer in the garage with the other tenants, who used it frequently so we had to sneak a load in at 10pm. There is no dishwasher, which ended up being fine with us. I would also caution about the location. There is a homeless population that crosses near those streets to and from the beach at night so be sure to do any dog walking in the neighborhood only. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

Perfect Vacation Cottage

This cottage is perfect for a seaside vacation with easy access to the water and lots of dining spots in the local vicinity. Lots of shopping too!

Better than pictures

The layout of this property could not have been more ideal. We had such an amazing time at Stephanie’s cottage. It was super clean, and had everything you could need. Even were able to go on a beach cruiser family bike ride along the coast. The amenities were top notch and we are looking at scheduling another vacay out here again. Stephanie was such a great host and went above and beyond for us. Be prepared for the property to be even better than the pictures!! Fabulous stay. Thank you Stephanie! 😘

Perfect location

This place was better than expected, perfect for 2. We loved the patio especially. It was a great location to walk anywhere or a short ride share trip. We would love to return here again.

Great place to stay

Really enjoyed this quaint cottage. So much better than a hotel. Was near everything in San Clemente. Amenities were great and we loved the outside space. My only want was more selection of channels for TV. Couldn't watch my favorite news channels. Probably a good thing for me though! Will definitely book cottage again when visiting my new Grandson!

Lovely Home in Great Beach Community

Property was exactly as described. Perfect for enjoying San Clemente, while right in between San Diego and LA if a greater adventure is intended. House was clean and tidy, and Stephanie was super attentive. Would go back in a heart beat!

Nice little cottage.

We had a wonderful time! The only surprise was that the washing machine and the dryer were in the garage and we must shared these with the second unit in this house.

Comfortable Cottage

This is a fantastic property in an ideal neighborhood. There was just one drawback. Guests in the adjacent cottage played their music quite loudly late into the night. This happened only one night, but it was difficult to sleep.

Calm and peaceful getaway

Our family of 4 with our dog had a great time. The place was clean and designed beautifully. Our kids loved the bunk beds in their 1/2 half private room. The location is in a peaceful neighborhood, with close accessibility to the beach, trails to walk your dog on. We used the beach cruisers to ride down to the pier for an amazing sun set ride. The owners were super responsive to any needs we had. We would stay here again!

Great trip!

My wife and I stayed here for a week and everything was very nice! The property is on a nice, quiet street in a good location to outlets and Camino Real, but far enough away from I-5 that you don't hear any traffic. The sheets and towels are good quality and the bed/pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you would need. The front porch is very cozy and the dutch door is a great touch! The area feels safe, including the back alley way which can be used to park if the street fills up. Overall, it was a great trip for us and we highly recommend this quaint cottage!

Dream Beach Cottage

My family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed here for 3 weeks. We had a fabulous visit and absolutely loved staying at Stephanie’s beach cottage. Cutest little cottage!

My husband and I and our pups had a wonderful, relaxing time at this quaint little cottage. Close to the beach, restaurants and far enough from the craziness of the pier. The patio was perfect to hang out in the mornings and evenings especially by the fire pit. Would definitely recommend.
